internet explorer and chrome save files

I've been playing games on internet explorer and just recently downloaded chrome. however, when i play the same game on chrome, the save file is that of an older one. when i try the same game on internet explorer, the save file is back to where i last left off. is there anyway i can get my newest save file on chrome too?

I'm not sure of the cause, but the older file could be from if you saved while playing as a guest instead of logged in. If you haven't already, try loading the file from IE then log out but keep the game open, then log in to Chrome and see if the new file will save over the old.

Make sure you're logged in on Chrome. I've found that you have to log in, completely close Google Chrome, then reopen Chrome to have it log you in properly.

When you're logged in, the top left corner has two links (Register and Login). When you're logged in you'll see:

"Edit Profile & Settings | Logout"

If you see that, try loading your game. Let me know if it works.

tried both of the above methods. neither worked. internet explorer lost my saved file too and both explorer and chrome revert to one of my older saved files.
