You have to consider that Final Fantasy has spanned four systems (the main series anyway). And the stor would have to be long enough to go through 12 games. I like some things about the new story everytime, but it is kinda bad when you get to liking the characters and then have to start with new ones in the next game.

The graphics, charas, stories, ideas, i think its better the way it is, we've met alot more charas that way¬_¬

When I first heard about FFX-2 I was kind of disappointed. I'm a very traditional person and I was upset to see that they actually made a sequel. But after finishing the game I saw the beauty of it. I get to actually find out, indefinitely, what happens with it! They did a great job of making a great game while poorly developing the story of FFX-2, in my opinion, but the concept still hit me. I think it would be great if they were to make sequels of the FF games that left us hanging the most.

sorry, ill have to disagree, the sequel was pitiful to me...it looked like a sick little sad attempt to an RPG for GIRLS, almost as bad as Ranma....that game was soo......girlish....I did like how they dressed though

I think it does. If you look really hard, some of the underlying story reappears every 2 games, Like the story of the Espers in FF6 echo the last of the Magic Monster Summons in FF4. Or The crystals in FF5 echo in FF9. Or the Ruined Places in FF6 could be from the destroyed castles in FF5.

Or I could be compleatly out of my gourd...What do you think?
