Resident Evil 6 on No Hope Left mode by yourself I consider to be ungodly hard. Professional mode? Pfft. This is easy compared to this. On No Hope mode, you have no abilities. Yep. That means you can't be constantly revived by your partner with the field medic perk. Oh, you can get revived, but with no health, meaning you get even poked, GAME OVER. GAME FREAKING OVER. Enemies hit harder, ammo doesn't drop as much.. Yeah. Its hard. I've gotten to chapter 5 on Leon, and got stuck because of the last boss. UGH.

I'd have to say Resident Evil 3 has my vote for the hardest.
Normally I do not use any guides to play games.
Resident Evil 3 forced me to get a copy of "Expert Gamer" and a copy of "Tips and Tricks". (God I miss those Magazines. Great Artwork.)

For me, it must be Resident Evil 4. The boss battle on the lake where your boat got dragged around was very frustrating, then there was the boss fight against the giant shortly after that (if you pay 3000 gold though, you can one-shot it with a bazooka). And then in the labs there are those terrifying things that just won't die.

For me it was Umbrella Chronicles. I had a VERY hard time defeating Talos and I still haven't gotten to fight that crazed Russian Sergei because of all the points that you have to get.
