There have been riots, for the first time in history, London, Tottenham, Croydon, Enfield, Liverpool, Manchester, Hackney, Birmingham and Nottingham, have been shot form the perspective of a mobile phone camera.

Normally CCTV is the only way we get view criminal activity and the thieves do their best to describe themselves with hooded tops and bandannas tied around their faces.

But these riots prompted youths to film I presume initially the heavy handed tactics the police were using as evidence to justify their actions and to show the world the police force in all its splendor.

and now we have the case where they use it to brag of their spoils and show the world what mischief they have been committing.

Is the mead responsible for fuelling the riots and giving them as Margaret Thatcher said of terrorism the life blood it needs, to frighten and terrorise us to further their cause.
Perhaps the government just want the people of the UK to be scared so that they can come up with a cheap solution of heavy handed policing rather than a more delicate touch of trying to restructure society to help people
