pretty much the exact same ting as me.
no i'm not afraid to die.. people can points weapons at me and i do not fear..
BUT. i do fear.. REALLY fear.. the fact of one day just being vanished..
when i was a little child of 7 i found a dead body.. and before that always though that humans lived for eternal life.
since that moment i got paranoia about the idea of being vanished and losing EVERYTHING in your life. people dont fear death or dying. they fear the fact of not existing anymore..

everyone with common sense fears death or dying. its natural. we have a mind and thoughs.
we do fear unknown things.. the most unknown thing in life is death.
so people are feared for the unknown path after dying or being dead.
i'v had cancer.. twice in a row. at young age. with 30% chance of surviving..
i seem to have the luck to keep avoiding dying.. like i got beaten once. as a child of 8. like seriously beaten by 2 older kinds of the age of 14 back then. and i didnt die.
since then not a single person picked on me.
same goes for EVERY kind of other unatural way to die.
I never get sick..
i never got hit by a car. even while i dont even watch while waking AT ALL!..
always when i seem to fall or whats so ever i always seem to catch myself. or being stayed in balance..

well i do have some things that i didnt avoid in my life..
my ears are seriously damaged during extreemy hard sounds.
i keep hearing a anoying peep at different lv's of hights and lows.
wel this post is kinda long..
the fact is.. no i dont fear the death.. i do fear the unknown. and being vanished.
and i also think of not being here. before my life how it was.
abnd how it would be after. this strange hollowed feeling come through my mind. and when it hits me. i get paranoids. like pretty bad.
i got this isue 2-3 times a week. and its mostly comes at moments of randomness or moments after being really happy.

Yes I am. Both afraid and intrigued by it. Though I have more stoic perception of it than I had when I was younger. Meaning I guess that I accept it and welcome it with much more ease. Though I would be foolish to say still I would not be afraid of it. My ego and curiosity are still strong enough that I would not want to let anything go very easily.

Yes. Hey, I might as well be honest! lol If I weren't, I wouldn't do anything to try avoiding it. I don't live in fear of it, if that's the question here, but I think we all fear it to some extent deep down inside. I could be wrong, maybe that just makes me feel better. I don't know. I figure when it comes down to that moment, most people are scared to some extent, no matter how prepared they may be, as not many people actually WANT to die.

Well, I'm not really afraid of death, but I am afraid of living a life that doesn't mean anything.
You know, I'm also afraid of intense pain. So, like most people, I'm slightly afraid of how I die.
So have you ever thought about what your life means? I mean, I feel like I am alive for some reason, some purpose. I believe that purpose is to honor God and bring him glory. But what in the world does that mean? And if I die before I do something that looks like that.... ? That... scares me.
So I am not afraid of death, but I am afraid of dying without doing anything worthwhile.
So what is worthwhile? And how do I do it?

No, but then I have had a couple of life or death moments in my life.  Told I had two years to live at most in 1995 due to an illness.  In march of last year I went into the ICU and died twice (they brought me back both times obviously ).  I've had a gun pointed at me, I've had a knife pulled on me.  I've looked death in the eye several times, and it's blinked every time.  You have to go sometime, so why be afraid?  Don't get me wrong..I would of course not want a painful, lingering, death.  Death itself does not scare me, but I am a wimp when it comes to pain

As others have said, the only think I fear about death are leaving people who depend on you behind.

When I was younger and had less obligation and responsibility, I wasn't at all afraid of death. I know it sounds silly, but I didn't care that much. I know if I actually came face to face with it, I would be afraid and fight/run for me life.

Now, I take my life a little more seriously because I have obligations to other people.

I've already faced death multiple times in my life. During my childhood I almost died 6 times. When I was born I was almost dead, I had to come out early because the umbilical cord was choking me, that lead to me having a huge gash in the back of my head so they had to do surgery on the spot to save me. I somehow held onto life and didn't die.

Other times it was from more idiotic things like a drunk taxi driver driving me and my uncle off a cliff, he broke his thumb protecting me. Another time when my genetic father ordered me to grab him some beers without telling me that he waxed the floor so I slipped and the glass broke and impaled most of my feet and legs, I screamed and fell unconscious, rushed to the emergency room and almost died then as well, I still have scars on my toes.

But it's not just me either, I've had my first pet die in only a couple of years after I knew him since he was already old, I cried my soul out. One of my friends was ran over and killed by a drunk driver, it was even more devastating for her best friend who locked herself in a room for a week and mourned her death. The first girl I found and fell in genuine love with, one who was strong and supported me as much as I supported her, a lot of drama happened in her life and she vanished. I'm not sure if she's dead but I haven't heard a thing from her since so it's only safe to assume so I can move on.

So, at this point in my life. I'm not exactly scared of death anymore. However, I am afraid of the unknown. What happens after death? That's the part that scares me.

Well, I've been close to dying before, I caught a really bad allergic reaction with heavy duty antibiotics but I guess I could say I am afraid of HOW I'm gonna die. I have a fear of catching some serious disease that could kill me since I already caught a serious disease, and I guess I sometimes worry what will happen after death, because no one really knows... until you experience it. Makes me wonder that if you die and you may never see light again. But since I really believe in heaven, hopefully that's the effect of death (for people who aren't evil, which people who would be evil would go to the underworld, which you would know what I mean) And I don't think I'll be afraid to die of old age and stuff.

Why be afraid of the unavoidable? Sure, I'm "too young" to die (30), and I take every bit of precaution I can think of to avoid dying any time soon, but as a humorist once pointed out, "All the veggies in the world won't stop a truck from hitting you".

DO A BARREL ROLL! Lol, I'm not afraid of it. The more you worry, the more anxiety builds up and you become paranoid. If it comes, it comes.

I'm not afraid of death myself.
Its inevitable just a part of life I don't see the point in fearing something you cant change
I find it better to live in the moment while you can instead of worrying about something that will eventually happen to us all.

I'm not afraid of dying- just afraid of my family members or loved ones dying because I'm not ready to deal with that yet. 

I'm not afraid to do and neither should anyone else when it happens it happens am I right,when god and Jesus is ready for us then that's how it is but if you ask me I'm sick of those people who try to put a date on the end of the world its not deturnable it could happen in a today, tomorrow or whenever am I right.

I am VERY afraid of death. But we all have to die sometime :l

No I'm not afraid of death because everyone has to leave at  sometime, no-one is here for ever, but the one thing I guess that would be scary in death is how you die.

Well to tell you the truth I would technically say no but I like to live. I live a fantastic life and today just made it better. I found this website and I like it already. I just played one part on Pokémon emerald and came back to post I think I might introduce myself around. Well so really no I am not afraid of death and will never be because I would die for someone I love.
