Now, mind you, this is all personal opinion as me stating that Diablo 3 is -going- to be the holy grail of gaming. And it's not even out yet!

But Diablo was one of the BIGGEST games in the 90's, when Diablo 2 dropped, I spent 8 years of my school days playing this game. Dropping out when the latest patch dropped due to me finishing my last years of school. Going back in? It was still a good game and I spent another three years playing it.

Nowadays I spend my days playing Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft. Hardcore. Meaning I spent a lot of my time getting the best I could be at those games. And let me tell you right now: When Diablo 3 drops I will be hardcore at the game as well.



Diablo is a game where you fight the forces of Hell. You pick a class, you go out and level up your character, and eventually you fight Diablo.

One of the main reasons why the original games were so addicting was because of the level of depth you get yourself in. You are one character fighting a whole wave of monsters at any given time and when you are done killing them all, you travel 20 feet more and you have to face another wave. Each and every time you have a chance at getting a new piece of gear or gaining another level so not only will you be stronger, but you feel more confident at facing massive armies of enemies coming your way.

The community is where it's at though. You can trade gear you picked up, you can meet new friends, and best of all you can team up with people online to conquer the world of Diablo.

Diablo 3 is set to be released whenever it wants to. And with the success of the previous titles. Diablo 3 will be no different at the hands of Blizzard. It's going to be one hell of a game.

I am also excited and can't wait to play Diablo 3. I have always been a big fan of Blizzard games and I play Starcraft 1 & 2 and Warcraft 3. I think I will be among the first in my country to buy Diablo 3. The only thing I'm nervous about is my unstable Internet connection......

I have lost a lot of sleep over Diablo  1 & 2.  It was always just one more level, then I'd put it down.  I really can't wait for this release.  If it was going to be average, we'd already be playing it.

I agree with you completely. Blizzard always puts a lot of effort on making the games the best they can beore they release it. Tho only thing I dislike about it is that the release dates change a lot.

I'm not the biggest fan of Diablo games but, they're fun games. I wanna play this!

Strangely enough I was talking to a friend about this game not too long ago.
Honestly, the best RPG game slot is taken by Oblivion 4 and Skyrim.
Saying that though, Diablo does look pretty kickass, like a RPG interpretation of Dante's inferno.

Diablo 2 is my all time favourite game. I spent more time than I care to admit doing magic find runs looking for better gear/runes. I am sure many of you are aware that the closed beta is underway. Go sign up for the beta opt in and pray that you get in haha.

Blizzard also recently pushed the game back from December to "early 2012". I will probably buy Skyrim to tide me over until D3 releases.

I liked diablo since I was little. It's one of the best dungeonering games yet. I'm looking forward to the buy sell stuff feture.
