Those options aren't currently features of the RGR plugin, but auto back up of saves and full screen will possibly be implemented in the next update of the plugin.

I would also like to inquire why there are so many issues with loading after one beats the elite four. Why does the save file keep corrupting and thus not letting me get to battle frontier? This seems to be a problem for many people

If I recall correctly, that is because the coding that allows the cartridge to continue after the final part of the game isn't being read properly by the emulator. Right now, the only way to do things that require you to beat the Elite Four is to play a hack version of the game that has the stuff available before you face the Elite 4. However, I was reading the Facebook page this morning, and and he said that the new plugin that he announced recently should read the ROM properly to allow continuing the game after the Elite 4. Hopefully, that works out.
