I have a Brightboxe DLP Projector and for some reason, the image does not show anymore, but the sound still works.  What did I do that caused this.  Did it overheat? Is there a bulb in the projector that I have to replace? Please Help!!

EDIT: Okay, it is working now, but when I press the off button, it stays on for about 10 seconds and then turns off.

Before the thread is closed I would like to ask a question:

Marcmoney : when you try to turn off your projector does the screen slowly dim it's lights before it completely turns off? Most projectors have this feature to help protect the bulb from exploding due to heat compression. The reason why it takes so long for it to cut off is due to this. It's a perfectly normal thing.

if the lights don't dim it's software. Again, perfectly normal.

Bitmap : No, it just waits a few seconds and then turns off, no dims.  I just got to turn it off once in a while so that it won't happen again.  I did find out that on the box it says "Operation Lifetime  - >30,000 hours" (looked it up and is exactly >1,250 days) what does that mean?  Does it mean that it will die eventually?
