I would like to know how to use Cheat Engine for games on this site, if anyone can help me I would appreciate it a lot.

If you want specifics, the game I am trying to hack is Pokémon Prism - Summer 2010 Beta (Gold hack)
I have managed to hack my Orphan Card to 255 points (but I have no clue how to make it higher than 255 because it recounts from 0 when I try passing 255), but other hacks I need help with are experience gained and money

P.S. - I am using the VizzedAEPgb Java Emulator

A7XxBVB : No idea how to use the Cheat Engine of Vizzed, but I do know why it doesn't past 255. And that's because that's the highest there simply is in the gameboy game. It's only got 255 variables (Or Values? Hexes? Point is max is simply 255, if it went any higher without rounding back down, the game would break. You're putting information that isn't even in the game)

This has the same limit as old school Final Fantasy games: Some max stats are only 255.

Vincent Swiftstrike : I read about that, the highest value is 255, but I was wondering if there would be a way to get around that. I don't even know if I find out how to do the money or experience, how would I get passed just $255 or 255 exp

A7XxBVB : Some stats go over 255, because they are simply just numbers, they are not part a complex equation. Money and such should not follow the 255 variable rule. Even old school pokemon games follow this rule. Technically the max level you can get to is level 100, but the max variable of levels as we know thanks to MISSINGNO is actually 255. When it gets to 256, it resets back down to 0. As far as the game knows, "0" is 256 because that is the next number on the list because the Gameboy is designed to loop back if it reaches past the barrier to avoid error.

There is no way to get around it. If you did, it would glitch up the game; it has no number for being over 255. If you look at video's of breaking the 9999 damage limit on Final Fantasy (Specifically Final Fantasy VII because you can actually break the limit without cheating), you will see what will happen. A glitched up number appears. In Final Fantasy VI, it literally says: "Too Much To Count" and will just instantly kill the enemy.

A7XxBVB : Cheat Engine was designed to hack into game executables, in fact, specifically emulators. You may be able to hack games, but it's going to be ridiculously hard because your browser's values are going to get in the way for EACH window you have open. This alone will make the hacking process slow and incredible taxing on the program because it will have to look for every single value for every single window open, and many of those values are changing along with the game's values. Think of trying to find a needle in a haystack. Now trying finding 1 SPECIFIC needle in 7 different haystacks with a whole bunch of fake needles in them.

What version of Cheat Engine are you using 6.0? I don't think vizzeds security will allow Cheat Engine that's just my guess but if t doesn't work than that's proably the reason why.

UserMike :

I've only used something similar on executables; primarily emulators to find values for cheat codes.

Well, I guess technically it wasn't cheating... considering I made the game harder on myself. Specifically talking about Zelda Majora's Mask, and giving myself literally 0 hearts; 1 hit kills you, and picking anything up that would heal you kills you as well.

UserMike :

Um... Kind of...

Rather then search for my actual health value, I searched for my heart CONTAINER value, and then filtered the search whenever this value changed. Took a long process because I had to play the game normally for a few hours, and had to filter it the moment I got a new heart container to tell the program the value I'm looking for just changed from 3, to 4. And eventually from 4, to 5... So on so fourth.

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask's health system is very strange. Just because you are at half a heart, you could be at a little less then half despite what the meter says. The meter just rounds up by default. The evidence of this system is apparent when fighting Odolwa in the Swamp temple when you get damaged by moths, it could take the moths up to 2 or 3 hits to just knock 1/4th of a heart away.
