Well today we arrived at our cabins, at like 10 PM, but at least we got here. Not much has happened since we got here, all we've done so far is drive and chill at a few different hotels and now were here. I believe that tomorrow we're actually going to go to the National park. Yeah! I sat in that car for EVER, it's about time we get to do something fun.

The only thing keeping me sane during that long drive was my music and texting Ximena, my good friend from California...who also happens to be my "ex". Even though we only texted-going out, so I'm not sure if she counts as a real girlfriend or not. Oh well, were good friends now, and text like crazy.

It's too bad that there isn't any WiFi at the cabin, I am still coding some updates to my website, now I can't really test it out properly cause I can't upload the pages..*sigh*. At least I have my phone to check my email and Facebook, I honestly don't know what I would do without my phone.

I'm not sure of the time, my computer says 2:08 Am, but I don't know if it updated to the time zone here, in Montana. Hmmm. Well I know that it is late, and that I'll forget to write an update to this Vacation Blog...So I just need to stall the time for my iPod to charge, so I can go to sleep. I sleep listening to my iPod because my grandma snores...It kept me up until 4 AM the other day! Boy was I tired that day, I only got like 3 or 4 hours of sleep...

Omegle is one of my new favorite websites, I love it! It's a great site to go to when you are bored, cause you get to talk to random strangers. I now have friends from Italy, the U.K., Canada, and all over the U.S..

I now have to go to bed, cause my grandma is making me. Can't wait to post this entry when I get some WiFi. G'night.

Like I said I did forget to write another blog post the other day..So I'm gonna write a extra long one for today.

Yesterday we had to get up early, like at 8:30 AM to go to the Red Bus tour. I din't think that it would be that much fun, because from the description it sounded like it was all the stuff we had done the previous day, but to my surprise..It was really fun, cause we had this quite informitive guide whom knew lots of stuff about the park and told a few good stories. He took us a little out of the way and showed us this place where you were supposed to be able to see the stars really well, but it didn't look any different than at our cabin, but they were still awesome to see. I should have took pictures...Oh well I'll do that later tonight, maybe. Well I did get some extremely awesome pictures of the mountains! They are nice, since my phone has a 5 megapixel camera, the pictures look really well as my desktop background.

We also took a hike on this trail yesterday, and that was fun...and quite tiring. We walked a total of 4 or five miles, but it was worth it because we finally found a waterfall. Let me tell you sitting by that waterfall that came from melted snow was at leat 20 degrees cooler than on the rest of the trail. It was amazing, I also got some neat pictures of the fall. Later at around 11 PM we went to that spot where you were supposed to be able to see the stars very well, but the didn't look any different from the cabin.

Today, however was a different story. Even though all we did most of the day was sit in this lodge and chill, it was still so awesome. The mountain here look like the Swiss alps, if not better. The lodge we were at was like 100 years old, if not older, and was huge. It had a deck where you could sit out and just stare at the mountains and the lake. The lake was an emerald-green color, probably from the glacier that had carved it, and I'm sure that it was over 250 feet deep, I'm not really sure.

At the lodge I had some ice cream, and it was huckleberry-vanilla swirrled...It was so good, I almost wanted to get another cup of it. Up here, and in Yellowstone Huckleberries are really big. They look like blueberries, but are smaller, I'm not sure how to describe the taste other than they are sweet, and good. They have huckleberry EVERYTHING, from jams to teas, oatmeals, flapjacks(pancakes), BBQ sauce, everything, the only problem is that it's all so expensive, witch sucks.

To top of this perfect day of chilling at the lodge, on the way home it was raining and on this mountain road we were on we saw crossing the road...a Grizzly Bear! It was so awesome! Although my mom or I wasn't able to get a picture of it, sadly. That was the first grizzly I had ever seen, and hopefully not the last. Well that's my day, and yesterday.

3.

Well today was a fun day for sure. Yesterday my mom was talked into going on this Glacier hike in the mountains, so we went on that today. To start the day of we had to get up at like 6 AM, I hate getting up early usually but today wasn't that bad. After I got dressed and al that, my mom and I headed off in the rental car to this swftcurrent restaurant thing where the ranger told us we were supposed to meet for the hike we wanted to do. Some how the ranger misunderstood what we wanted to do the day before or something and he told us the wrong place. We had even gotten there early for it, but we had 9 minutes to drive all the way to the big lodge. We got there like 10 minutes late, and missed the boat, so we got on the next boat witch was 30 minutes later, and eventually we caught up to the group. We hiked for several miles, over small waterfalls, in thick parts of the forest. We were on the side of a cliff at one point, it was so awesome!

Once we got to the farthest point we could go with the tour guide, the group stopped and took a short lunch break. All I had to eat was a small sandwich, but it was still good, it was ham and mayonnaise. After my mom and I got done eating the ranger told us we could go ahead and start hiking down, so we did. Once we got around the point where we had caught up to the group, there was a trail that took us to the boats, witch is the one we took up there, and the one where you could walk all the way back to the lodge. Some how we decided to go on the longer hike, witch was like around 2 miles to the lodge. The trail was really narrow somewhere along it and the brush was growing over the trail and was wet...we still had to walk through it. Boy our pants were soaking wet! About 3/4 of the trail we found this little pond on the side of the lake witch still had ice in it! Yes in the middle of the summer, there was ICE in a pond!

After we finally got back, we just chilled at the lodge for a little while and had some Hot Chocolate, my mom had a late...ew, I hate any kind of coffee. Afterwards when we got into the car we decided to drive up to the U.S. - Canadian boarder, just to see Canada. It's too bad we couldn't get in, passports are way to expensive! Also, we didn't have court-order birth certificates. So we drove up as close as we could, got a few pictures and turned around and went home... but we had to go through U.S. customs to get back in. Luckily there were no problems with that. Finally we drove home, and then went out to eat at the Whistle Stop Restaurant. I had a stuffed potato, that consisted of bacon, cheese, and sour cream, and it was oh so good! It also came with a side salad, with red bell peppers, witch I had never seen before in a salad, and homemade ranch dressing. After all that we just chilled at the cabin and went to sleep.
