Well, what do you all think. Is it ok to read walkthroughs when playing video games?

Personally, I dont like to all the time. Im currently playing Zelda Phantom Hourglass on DS, and it is pretty hard. But this is a big puzzle game, and I like to be puzzled, even if it takes me 10 hours to solve it.

You should add a if you beat the game the first time and you want to pwn it the second time. Example 1: Chrono Cross, Beat it then played newgame plus and got like all teh rainbow shells, I got the hammer and stuff to forge it with the smith guy.
Example 2: Final Fantasy X, Beat it then made a new file and got all the secret summons.

I have to use a walkthrough for Final Fantasy because I always think I am missing something.
Sometimes I'll just pick up a walkthrough for the fun of it, just to check it out if I have some extra $$$.

i dunno.. i kinda use walkthroughs when i'm just not patient enough to bang my head against something repeatedly... like - in ffVIII to get the brothers GF, i needed a walkthrough, and cause i did it made the game way better... cause brothers are great early on

also, for phoenix wright 2 ( i havent beaten it yet, i did the 1st 2 turnabouts - the important 1s) and some of 3 i needed a walktrhough.. they really screwed 2 up with some crap is just impossible to deduce reasonably... so i gave into it and was tired of dying and starting over

but if you beat a game and then get a walkthrough it deffinitly shines a whole different light on it

Yeah there really needed to be a choice for the second time through. There are a couple of games that I would not be able 100% without a walkthrough.
