I am not much of a fan of either, but Goku doubtlessly. Firstly, Goku's offensive prowess is infinitely superior to supermans, and in a hand to hand his defensive stats would be similar. The only reason Goku takes half the abuse he does is that he is fighting infinitely more powerful adversaries than Superman.

I would also choose Goku because in the end...he is not nearly as cowardly as superman. Superman has nothing to fear, except kryptonite and he absolutely refuses to face it, as then he is actually vulnerable. Goku, on the contrary, knows that he can be defeated but is still willing to push forward.

Even if there was a small little chance of Superman killing Goku, Goku can come back from the dead. He always finds ways of coming back and when he does he's a lot more stronger than before. I highly doubt in any reality that superman can ever defeat Goku totally.
