yeah, the transfer rate from America to Australia is better than Australia to America, as we loose 10 Cents, and they gain 10 cents (for every dollar). So technically, recieving 10 USD would mean we would get 11AUD, but in any case, its still 10 USD... so... In our case its useless... if you were a rich american selling up business... moving to Australia... and say you had $200,000... when you get to Australia thats $220,000... as opposed to going to America with $220,000 and getting there with $200,000... in saying that, i think as the exchange rate changes so does the cost of imported items, and maybe even non-imported items... so the better the economy, (higher exchange rate than other countries) than the less it will cost thus improving sales... and... im going to stop... i am SO sorry for saying all of that... as i just started working at Woolworths i kind of take an interest in the economy and share prices... espicially as Woolworths is almost 3 times higher than Coles who i believe to be the only competitiors worthy of mention in Australia. Does America have a woolworths? if so, they rock!
