I recently decided to start playing SoulSilver again on the account I could possibly get another DS to transfer to Black to but I've a problem.

I'm trying to get Porygon from the game corner but I just can't do Voltorb Flip. I am horrible at minesweeper and I've a math disability and thus it is nearly impossible for me. I have to guess and 9 times out of 10 I don't get past the second level.

Any tips that I could actually understand? I've read guides but I'm lost by the end of it.

You can increase your chances if you don't go for columns where only 1's and Voltorbs are possible. So, for instance, say a row says 4 coins total and 1 Voltorb. Since there are 5 spaces, one holds a Voltorb and four of them are 1's. Since it doesn't matter if you flip 1's or not, then you should stay away from that row in order to not touch the Voltorb at all.

Voltorb flip doesn't take a ton of math skills. It's really just logic and luck. Keep practicing and you'll reach a high level in no time.
