Well the big obstacle I currently see is that we need to be able to reference to the stats directly without having to reference to the level first because the level is what a portion of the stats are based on. This may not make sense but me and Bigbob talked about this before.

In order to reference to the stats, we have to go thru a bunch of equations, the actual stats aren't actually in the database, we need a way to make this better.

Also, maybe we should have an entire table dedicated to linking users with items that they own. This would be nice because it would allow users to be able to own more than 1 item per a category, and users would be able to choose from a drop down menu which item to equip as their held item. This would be nice for accessories also.

Just on the battle creation (the first one) do the equations and get the stats, then store that as numbers, so we just reference to them numbers.

Do you mean you can own heaps of items, weapons, armour and such, its all just in a tool chest or something. Then when you goto battle, you setup your character?
