Has anyone else seen any of the anime Hajime no Ippo? I've gotta say I really liked it. I'm hoping to get the DVD sets that are coming out next week at some point, probably ask for them for Christmas.

The aiime is very well done. It's based off the longest running manga ever in Japan (it's still not finished). If you are an anime fan you should at least check out the first 5 or so episodes.

I watched the series like 4 times through (and recently started it again).

I watched:
The fansubs back before the DVD sets came out.
The DVD sets in English
The DVD sets in Japanese
Then I've watched the better part of it a 4th time in English and Japanese.

The English voices are pretty bad, but it's such an awesome show.
