Hello. I wanted to make a thread for the people of Vizzed to use to show their ideas on games that they want in Vizzed but are not there. I don't want posts that are about getting game systems that are not here. (Many have tried and failed)

Some suggestions that I have for the community that are not in Vizzed is Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryu to Hikari no Tsurigi for the Famicom or NES. I have not seen it on Vizzed as of today. Also other translations for some of the Japan only releases of Fire Emblem are available online but have not been added as of yet. Also missing pieces of series like Harvest Moon GBC 3 was released for GBC but has not been added to Vizzed.

Honestly, there hasn't been a game I searched for that wasn't on here, except for fan made translations of Japanese games. Sometimes I can find the japanese versions, but it is rare to find one that has the translation patched into it. Over the years there have been 100's of games that have been fan translated, and I think they would be a great addition to this site, because most people havn't had a chance to play them before.

I would particularly like to see SNES and NES translations of RPG's because there are TONS of them. Games like Secret of Mana 3 or Tales of Phantasia would be awesome.

I don't know who adds games but if they read this and want help finding translation .IPS patches and the roms let me know. It can get annoying when you need a ROM with a specific header.

  Translations are much needed for the Japanese only games on Vizzed. Now according to what I read about Roms, supposedly the owner must have the game or wait a certain amount of time after the video game producer died or when the game was created. On Vizzed when in the Retro game room, it says below the game your on (Disclaimer: When you play these games, you're legally "renting" a digital copy of a physical game we really own). Now this statement means that Vizzed has to own the game (The person that posts games on must own it). Therefore, we have 3 choices: (1) Donate and ask what the money be used for or (2) Ask one of the members to donate their game or (3) We ask the person who posts games to put it on. Choice 3 doesn't really sound nice. Leaving the members of Vizzed to get the game or donate for the game.


Side Note: Unlicensed ROMS are illegal. Don't trust little sites you find online that say you can download it. If the site is trustworthy in that, you read the copyright and know it's safe, or it is the video game producers site. This is the reason Vizzed can't post every game until they own it.


To above reply: I agree with you as stated earlier, Japanese games and other language games need translations so we can understand the words and story.
