Hovering over a user's name now reveals details of that user.  Here's an example of hovering over my name:

This is a handy update because there's been many times where I see a username and wanted to know a little more about them but didn't want to go through the hassle of clicking their name.  Or if there's a bunch of users, it's a pain to click all their names, just hovering over them 1 by 1 is far quicker.


What do you guys think of this update?  Is it helpful?  Did it cause any problems?

It's not something that will really affect me, because I usually click out of habit, and can see a users post count on most places of the forum.

That said, it'll be great for newbies, and helpful for moderators in some instances.

I think it's quite nice.

If I would do one thing, though, it would be to remove the level part from hovering. Seeing someone's level isn't necessarily important, and it makes it more bulky then it should be.

I would agree with the level part.

Until the battle arena is in service the whole level thing feels pointless to me. It's a nice gauge of how long you have been a member and how active you are, sure, but for all intents and purposes, you already have the days registered and the post count.

I really like this new feature
It was always a pain for me (and other people, who has slow Internet) to click the name and wait the profile page (which usually needs more time to load, because of all these things that they put on it) to load. So this can save some of my time! Thank you

okay, I tried hovering and realized what would happen....


if you could make the bubble have a 1 second delay then you could get into the bubble and maybe that would have it stay....

I think the idea has some merit though if you can get it working. Anything that makes moving around the board faster and/or easier is good.

this is a pretty good idea.
as for the sending pm's by hovering over etc it would probably
be easier and better if you just had a little arrow beside each
username that when you click gives a scroll down menu with
 options like report, give trust points, send pm etc, now that
 would definetely be usefull.

I agree with the level thing. you can easily see level in all forum posts, and It doesn't really matter until the Battle Arena is functional.
