Ive been playing pokemon emerald for the past 4 hours  (not at once) and i go to it now and it says i havnt even STARTED it. i always save before i exit. when i go to the help center place it says something about save manager but i dont know how to do it. can someone please help me so i can get my data back? thanks!

Was the site down when you uploaded your save?  Do you save using save states, or do you save in game?  Do you make sure to wait for the save state to upload to the server before closing the emulator, and then when you close the emulator make sure to wait for the state to upload again before closing the game window?  For the save file manager, you need to be using the fire fox browser.  You can find the save file manager to the left of users online on the main RGR page.  If there's no save file in there, then your save file never uploaded in the first place.

When you saved, did you also press F2? That's the best way to be sure the game is saved. When you go back to play, press F4 to load your game. For more details, check this thread:
