I root for the Grizzlies. They were SO close to getting to the western finals this season, but they failed. IT MAKES ME SAD.

For me, it used to be the Seattle Supersonics without a doubt. Now, I would have to say the L.A. Lakers, which is weird because there was a time when I hated the Lakers and the Chicago Bulls for that matter as well. That was when both franchises were winning NBA titles all the time though. Now, when I watch some of those NBA Finals games on YouTube, I actually have a new found respect for just how good those Lakers and Bulls teams of the 1980's and 90's were.

I love the Chicago Bulls because they are the closest team to my house and I like every Chicago team except the Cubs.

I hate all of them but the one I hate the least would have to be the Bulls. Though if they never had Micheal Jordan on their team I would never like them. I just do not follow the NBA.

I am a fan of the Chicago Bulls and have been since before they were awesome. I got a lot of crap in Maine rooting for them because they thought I was a bandwagoner.

I rooted for the Bulls when they were a sub .500 team.

Against the Celtics who won a championship.

I am entitled to my fanhood.

My favorite NBA team would be the Heat, but not because of their team now.
They have been my favorite team since they drafted Dwayne Wade out of Marquette in 03 or 04.
When they picked up Shaq a year or two later that made the team even better.

You know where its at. L.A. Baby. And not the other team, but the Lakers.

I've been a fan of the Pacers ever since I was a kid.  I was randomly watching a basketball game and I saw Reggie Miller score eight points in 8.9 seconds in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Knicks to win the game 107 - 105.  There was a lot of excitement in that game.  I've seen basketball before that day, but that was the first time I was interested in who was playing and what was going on.

Oklahoma City is the closest team in my area, so I started rooting for them when they moved here.

I like the toronto raptors, I don't really watch basketball tho unless It's the school team.

The Chicago Bulls are my favorite team, because my dad watches them and one of the things I share with my dad is my love for sports.

I'm not a huge NBA fan, but I do like the Celtics.

Unlike in baseball, I root for the local team when it comes to basketball. Well, local-ish. I root for the New York Knicks. I've been a fan ever since my friend started getting into basketball. To have one more thing in common, I was motivated to learn more about the sport. One night I stumbled upon a Knicks blog and from reading the latest two entries and some comments, it seemed that a great game had just taken place. I flipped the channel to see if it was on again because it had already happened and I was in luck. I believe I started watching while it was still quite early in the game. It was a Knicks-Spurs game.

Prior to that night, I never saw a basketball game. It was a great experience. It's been about one year since that happened. I really like the team. I don't care if they win a ring or not, this is my team. They'll be together for a few years so they'll have their chances.

I still am in the clouds when it comes to certain aspects of the game, however, I enjoy it regardless and perhaps even because of that. It's okay though, I have baseball to get all nerbz over.

Go Knicks! DEFENSE! DEFENSE! DEFENSE!

I'm a big Miami Heat fan, but I'm not a bandwagon-jumper like 3/4 of their fans are now because of the Big 3...

I first started liking them in the 2006 season (no, not just after they were in the finals) because at that time I really started to get back into watching the NBA seriously and I really liked Dwyane Wade's attitude and play style, plus who doesn't like Shaquille O'Neal??

I like the Big 3, but that's not the reason I liked them.

I've also been a Clippers fan, but I'm somewhat of a bandwagon jumper for them because I really like Blake Griffin. The fact that they have Chris Paul and Chauncey Billups this season makes it even better, I expect them to go to the playoffs and do really well.

Another team I am sort of a bandwagon jumper on would be the Denver Nuggets, seems kind of ironic that they have done better once they traded away Carmelo (even though I really like Carmelo too)

All in all, I'm the same way in most sports: I like most teams, there are just a few teams in each sport I don't like (NBA: Lakers, Celtics, and Thunder would have to be my least liked, don't care much for the Spurs either)

I'd have to say the Miami Heat. Mainly because they've got a lot of good players on their team.

My favorite team has to be the Celtics, they're my home team and I've watched them since I was a kid, though they aren't doing so well this season. I also like the thunder and bulls.
