Pokemon Trading Card Game offers exactly what the name implies. The card game. Play any of the other Pokemon games if you are looking for a story. This is purely about beating other "gym leaders" for all the different type medals (ie. Grass, Fire) using your pokemon deck. Yes game comes from the same vine as the other games, although it lacks creativity in the story department, barely straying from the "usual story" of our fella Ash Ketchum. How it mirrors is in the beginning of the game, you decide between 3 decks of cards. Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander and friends decks. From there you're off to battle for all the medals and eventually receive all the legendary pokemon cards. Woo. Whether or not that sounds fun to you is your choice. It is pretty addicting if you like Pokemon, and it passes time. The controls are a little hairy,  but in all honesty they did a good job. I would suggest at least trying this game. And have fun!

Like I said before in some reviews in this game, it isn't that bad, but it is a card game for gameboy. Good Review BTW

This is one of my favorite games ever! I have to agree that it lacks in a few areas, mainly the non-satisfaction of collecting all the cards, but it has great mechanics and great music, A fun little game.
