Harry potter magic is cooler then robots  and I read the books when I was younger the movies are more in depth then the transformers cgi and explosions effects aren't every ting I watched the third transforms last night way to too long for me while there both cool Harry potter is better 

Transformers never got into Harry Potter.

Personally I would choose Harry Potter over the Transformers movies simply because I am a major Harry Potter fr00b. Although if I try to be as non biased as possible I would have to say the Harry Potter movies got progressively worse, but then again I hated the last Transformers movies as well simply because in the second movies Megan and Justin where furthering their relationship and talking about marriage and things, then in the third they randomly remove her from the entire series and introduce some new chick, who I think is hotter anyways.

Final review:
Harry Potter movies 1-4 (maybe 5 but it is a little iffy) are better than the Transformers movies
Harry Potter moves 6 and 7 are quite a bit worse in my opinion..

In the above review I'm completely ignoring the third Transformer movies because I hated I with a passion.

I mean I love the HP movies but Transformers just got me on this...

I am a huge harry potter fan so theres my vote.. Transformers is Awesome but it doesnt come close to beating Harry potter, That and Transformers last movie was weak. 

Well, I watched both movies, but I pick Harry Potter, I really liked to read his books during the night, it also made me exclamate a few times, and also, in a battle, Harry would win, with a single movement and a magic word, Harry could transform the transformers (lol) into little cute metal kittens :3

I like Harry potter a lot more than transformers. Really it's a no contest . The books are better than the films as well in my opinion. I'm more interested in magic and the abnormal than machines that transform into fighting robots from a different planet.

I find it laughable that you compare Transformers to Harry Potter. I mean really, its kind of out of the blue. If I had to choose, its an automatic Harry Potter. I love them.

Two words. Harry Potter. I LOVE THAT SERIES OF BOOKS AND MOVIES!

I like both Transformers and  Harry Potter so it would be
hard for me to chose :/   I like Transformer games and some
movies and I like Harry Potter movies ( I wanted to read the books
but I read too slow and it would take me forever to finish one ) .

Harry Potter by a long shot.  Putting these two movies up for debate is just silly.
I would understand Lord of the Rings but Transformers... Well, Transformers is terrible.
All three movies and the whole fanbase in my opinion are all over-hyped media.
At least in Harry Potter than didn't have to trade Emma Watson for some new chick.
Transformer traded Megan Fox for some English girl that modeled, and they expected her to run and jump in her cute little shoes.
The whole storyline was bad, and at least the cartoon shows were 22 minutes long.  Two full hours of nonsense CGI and terrible acting.
I will admit that the first Transformers movie had it's moments of brilliance, after that, the other two were just to draw more money out of your pockets so you can watch more fake explosions, computerized robots break and blow stuff up.   If you have to save the planet on three different occasion than the world is doomed.   Harry Potter ended very good in my opinion and I don't even care for Harry Potter and magics.
I enjoyed the first three Potter films and then I stopped caring about the rest and soon after the final movie was coming out I decided to catch up and watch the others and finally, I went to the cinema to watch the second part of the Deathly Hollows and at the end when the credit started to roll, everyone there stood up and clapped.  It was a great ending and a way to end a series. 
And now Transformers is making another movie.  Fourth time now that we've had to rely on Shia Labeouf.
Seriously, originality went out the door when they stopped Transformers: Beast Wars back in 1999. 

I am a huge fan of Harry potter, but transformers isn't bad either. 
The first series of Harry potter were amazing in my opinion, I was pretty young when I watched them. Around 12 y/o.
And I couldn't wait for the sequels.
I've only watched one transformers movie in the cinema, I don't really know which one it was again.
But the genre's are really different so it's hard to decide.
The storyline of Harry potter is way better, but if you want action you got to go for transformers for sure.
But Harry potter movies were and will be always better then the transformers one in my opinion.
