For the background I really suggest searching for a seamless background so that it will tile well. DO NOT USE AN IMAGE TAG. Just put the direct link in there. If I see too many people using my code without seamless backgrounds I'm taking down my code. If you find any problems with this code mention it here and I'll fix it and update it.

If there is something you want to know about this particular code feel free to ask me, I'll explain as best I can.

Well the easiest fix would be to either resize the image yourself, or choose a bigger image. I don't reccommend the first option because resizing an image can distort it.

I always try to look for images that are at least 1000x600-800.

Another option is to find an image that tiles well.
