I think that love takes time. You usually need to at least need to know a little bit about the person. If you get that feeling upon seeing someone on first site, I think that is more infatuation rather than love. And infatuation can more easily jump from person to person. I do think that love develops more easily for someone if you are infatuated with them though. But if you are merely infatuated, then it might be forgettable after a day or a week or so. But this is just my opinion and I am not speaking for everyone lol. I've been feeling sort of like this lately about multiple people but I know that it's not love, but a temporary thing.
