Nails on a chalkboard like many people and also squeaky markers on whiteboards. Oh, my gosh my friends used to squeak them on purpose at the end of classes just to torture me. It was horrible. The sound of small children and babies crying. It grates on me like nothing else. It's even worse when it's a 6-year-old, or something, because at that point their parents should be able to get them to shut up in public.

I was on an airplane with a kid who was crying basically the entire three hours in front of me, not because he was afraid of the airplane, but over some stupid disagreement he was having with his parents. Basically the whole time, they just sat there while he wailed without even trying to get him to calm down. I had to stop myself from standing up and berating them, or kicking the seat, or something.

I don't like nails scratching a chalkboard, someone clicking a pen over and over again in class, someone who's eating when I'm not eating, especially if they're really loud eaters, and really loud vehicles like trucks.  Oh, and let's not forget the sound of a person biting they're spoon when they're eating soup; it's the soup you're eating, not the spoon, so why bother using your teeth?  On that note, I can't stand it when people chew with their mouths open or talk with their mouths stuffed full.
