I am trying to make a Pokémon Emerald hack & I am doing fairly well. I use Advanced Map & Advanced text & various other tools. I am getting along pretty nicely until I thought of making the story different so I need some help. I need someone to give me a small tutorial in changing events & what programs I would need. Making events you need a knowledge of basic scripting. You will need:
Advanced Text and Notepad. First you can just look up on youtube to find tutorials on how to do basic scripting in advanced text then once you've wrote your script on notepad save it as a File Name Here.rbc <-----make sure it's rbc. Then you can compile the script and add it in the game once you've added it to advanced text. If that wasn't very helpful you can surely fin some tutorials on youtube that's how I learned it.
