My first job ever was working in the cafeteria at my high school for about 2 years. The paycheck wasn't very good but money is still money and i stuck it out until the end of my senior year. i meet so many people there and i am still friends with those people to this day. i still miss it sometimes though.

My first job was as a shoe salesman when I was 16. I worked for that store for 3 years at various positions.

The shoe sales job sucked. Hundreds of middle aged women trying on 30 pairs of shoes that were 2 sizes too small and not buying one pair. I hated that part going and getting the shoes from the back, then having to put them away after the people didn't buy them lol

Hmm.. Actually I have to wait 2 more years till I am 16 to take a part time job as an instructor in martial arts. I secured this position by just overall working hard to get a black belt and my masters said I could work for minimum wage soon! Still gotta learn all the curriculum to teach the kids ha ha.

She was so damn unusefull, customers were always complaining about all the things but when we were telling her, she was saying ''Ok'' and doing nothing. At least I got paid every weeks but then I got a better job in a great place after and I quit her dirty and poor gas station

   Back in 1973, I got my first real job working in a service station (the kind where an attendant -- me  -- pumps gas and washes the windshield of the vehicle that's getting gas.  I really liked that job and even did mechanical stuff on cars (oil changes, brake jobs, tire changes and repairs, etc...).

   The job was a part of my high school senior year in 1973-74.  I got school credit for working.  I worked at that service station for nearly 2 years before I went into the Navy after graduating from high school. 

   You know, this question has me reminiscing and I thank you for that!
