I'm a pretty avid reader actually. I view books as an escape from reality, so I used them all the time to get away from my crappy grade school and its nasty students.

Now that I'm older, I still love the thrill of a good book. Hell, I like the SMELL of a good book XD

I also read a heck of a lot of manga, and I've got quite an impressive collection sitting at my house. I have spent waaaay too much money on reading material. Strangely enough, I could never sell my books either. I like to re read them after awhile. Especially a certain few. Max ride and the hunger games instantly come to mind.

As for what I like to read, definitely fantasy, historical romances, and sci fi is a big one too. I hate pretty much every single book that's set in this time period. Modern timed books just turn me off big time, probably because I live in it and it's just not interesting to me.
