Okay, so. I can't wait until it's Sunday because this week has put more stress on my with sheer badluck then I have been having all year. And possibly last year, and the year before that as well. I may not be exaggerating if I said this is probably one of my most worst/stressful weeks in my life so far. (Not THE most, but one of them)

Sunday: Day was fine. Mostly because it was the weekend. It was a little too hot, but it's Summer.

Monday: I have to go first for all 3 of my accominating activities in all 3 of my classes. Ouch. They're big projects worth 15% of my final mark each. Going first means less time to work on them. Also, all the computers in the school were down, so I couldn't even work on them.

Tuesday: Insane Heatwave hits. Day was a struggle to go by. Couldn't work on my 3 activities again that day because the Computer Lab teacher wasn't there. No teacher would grant me permission to use a computer either.

Wednsday: Still can't work. Teacher isn't there. Fed up, I literally broke into the computer lab without permission. (There is a way to unlock one of the doors, which from there you can sort of snap the lock off the other door to get inside the lab. Then when inside, you can relock it and make it look normal. Since the lab teacher was gone, nobody could enter the room. I could leave the room by literally manually locking the door without a key). However, on the way home, big huge bloody storm hits and knocks out the power.

Thursday: As I'm sure some of you are aware with the thread I made earlier, I checked to see if school was canceled or not due to the power outage. I still got power in my area but the school didn't. Despite it being on, the school indeed did not have power but they were running the day anyways. I either go or get a mark on my attendance. Being an out of bounds student, I have no choice but to go. No surprise when I get there the power was out. The surprise however was that they now said the school WAS canceled for the day and possibly Friday. Oh. And the busses were not going to come back to pick me up. I live a 2 hour drive away. Basically said "Goodluck getting home with no transportation and communication because the power is down." So I had to walk 10KM in another storm after I was about half way there, on a highway where 7KM was construction, and the highway has had Bear sightings all week. I walked from one town to another just to get to my best friend's house to plead to his parents to take me home and explained what happened. I literally had no where else to go. Thankfully he's my best friend for a good reason, and his parents are extremely kind to me. They drove me home. I left school at 6:00 A.M. I didn't get home until 9:00 P.M. On a day I could have just skipped.

Friday: Teachers didn't show up to school. Power came back online but there may be a potential strike against the school board assuming they don't get sued. I of course, stayed at home. Power or not, and trying to catch up on miss exam work.

Then I catch a nasty Virus SOMEHOW and it begins eating all the data in 38% of my C-drive -- where my exam work is located. Hoooo boy. I've spent 5 hours trying to clean up the damage of the virus. And I think only 30 minutes ago I finally got that done. It's now 3:00 and technically Saturday. I'm not looking forward to the next 21 hours I have to endure. I am supposed to be playing D&D tonight, so who knows...

Now, with me doing this much ranting, more or less to just make me feel better (Ranting really does help me calm down), has anyone else also had a really really crappy week before that they got extremely incredibly stressed out? Perhaps felt like slapping someone with a fish like I feel like right now?

crazycatpup : Strange, I swore I posted it in the "About Yourself" Forum. =/

Then again, I am still trying to work out the kinks in my Mozilla Firefox after System restoring literally half a year back, and having deleted all my cookies just to be on the safe side.

It sounds like you just had one of the WORST weeks in the history of Vizzed. Honestly...

My life is already crappy, so I can't think of one week worth the stress and comparable to your week. I just can't.
Why? Your week is unimaginable. Sure, I had some bad stressful DAYS, but never weeks.

Frankly, I'm curious. Have you ever found out that the teachers were actually going on a strike or not now?

Did the school board get sued yet? Or at least got a lawsuit? Please don't tell me they went away unpunished...

Snowdeath : It actually just got a lot more worse; accessing the virus damage, it turns out that my registry is absolutely frazzled. I'm going to have to reinstall A LOT of items before I can use them once again. Also annoying because I was doing a recording of Mirror's Edge, and now I got half the game recorded but I can't locate my CD for the game to reinstall it with because my brother was intelligent enough to lose it. I honestly just cannot wait for this week to be over; I'm almost thinking of going to bed just so nothing ELSE can happen; it's only 11:35 A.M.

As far as the school goes, I have absolutely no idea. All I know is that I've been working my ass off at the school, and I have been getting screwed over again and again by the school board/system. For example: I failed a class last year because instead of putting me in Grade 11 Applied Mathematics, they put me in Grade 12 Academic Mathematics.

I was surprised that I failed with only 12%; Math is my worst subject. And no, they would not let me switch at all.

Vincent Swiftstrike : A suggestion... Move. Switch to a private school. I don't care, switch ANYWHERE else. Even if it's in Africa.
I honestly think African schools are a lot better than your piece of sh*t so-called school...
Did you even check if it was accredited? I HIGHLY DOUBT they'd be accredited. If they were, they wouldn't be THAT bad.
Why would they enroll you in grade 12 math if you failed the grade 11 one? Wow.
It's like my PE situation. I never passed grade 9 PE (because I skipped out too much.) and they put me in grade 10 PE for no reason, like they said failing was passing. LOL.
I oh so love Mirror's Edge, even though I tried it out once. It's an awesome game.

PS- Math's my worst subject too. =P

Snowdeath : No, I failed the Grade 12 Academic, I should have been in Grade 11 Applied instead. When I was put in Grade 11 applied like I SHOULD have been, I passed with a 73%; which is extremely good for me. That is the 2nd highest I scored in math ever, my highest being actually a 78%.

Vincent Swiftstrike : Ouch, now I get it. Well, still, they didn't have the right do that. Literally.

My highest math mark was.. 71? I guess.

Hey Vincent.  I think I know why "ranting" helps make you, and me, feel better.  Check out the link in my thread here and look at tip #9.
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=27672

I don't think I have ever had a full week as bad as that.  I have mostly made it bad for myself --but maybe it is just fear more than anything.  Also, I will never know the trouble that public schools can be because I was homeschooled most of my life.  The few years I was not homeschooled I was in a private school --and once in cyber charter.

Snowdeath : Trust me, I nearly dang well failed every other class just to get that 73%. I wouldn't have done that though normally, because I thought I actually had an F in my math class still. XD

I literally passed science that year by the skin of my teeth. Had I got like, 2 questions wrong on the exam from the mark I did get on my exam, I would have just failed. Thankfully I do have this thing of pulling my butt out of the mud when I need to, but not without some sacrifices.

By the way, anyone else feel cheated when your internet has the capability of downloading 1 Megabyte per second, but when you're playing a game it only feels like using 30 KBP/S of your download? It's BS I tell you!

Aside from missing Mirror's Edge, I now nearly have half of the damage done that was important recovered by now I think. Time consuming process taking up more of my time to work on my accominating activities for school. That's all I wanted to do this week, and I get the weight of the moon on my shoulders. >.>;

Vincent Swiftstrike : LOL. Well, I dropped out of my school year. I basically have ALL F's in each of my 8 classes. Top that... =P

Yeah, I know what you mean, we have the skill of getting out of deep, hot boiling water.

ROFL if that happened to me, I'd feel cheated for sure.

Moon? C'mon, can you really pick a better hyperbole? =P

Good accidental reference of the Majora's Mask, though.

Snowdeath : It wasn't an accidental reference; it was actually on purpose. I mean, think of all the crap that happened to Link at the start of Majora's Mask: Got a head injury, got his Ocarina stolen, got his horse stolen, and then it was gone because Skullkid got rid of her, and then Link gets transformed into a monster, and then has to team up with one of the fariy's who help aid in all of these events. Then after all that, finds out the world is going to end in 3 days.

Not that the world is going to end in 3 days, but it might be lights out for somebody in 3 hours. >w> So in that case, it was a good hyperbole.

As far as classes, if I got all F's, I would be living on the street. My mom would not be afraid to do that to me; even though at this rate it's like, 78% the school's fault, and 22% of mine (I have been lazy in some projects and such).

I did feel cheated. They put me in a class that I didn't ask to go in for one. Two, they put me in the wrong LEVEL of that class COMPLETELY, and by that, I mean not in one way, but TWO ways. And three, they let OTHER people out of that class. WHAT THE HELL???

Vincent Swiftstrike : Heh, that's cool, and this might be stupid but... Are you a LoZ superfan too?!

Yep, that's a pretty epic hyperbole =P

If you looked for my blog called "Snowdeath's Blog", you'd know most of my stress is from my family, lawl.

Wow, yeah, WHAT THE HELL. (Thank god Hell is an allowed word around here. I think...) LOL

Congrats.

Snowdeath : I wouldn't say a superfan. I'm a fan of Majora's Mask, but that really is about it. I enjoy the Zelda games but I haven't played all of them excessively. In fact the only ones I beat were LttP, OOT, WindWaker and MM. Ironically, those are my three most favorite, MM being first, LttP being 2nd, and OOT being 3rd. And WindWaker being 4th. Wind Waker I was extremely slow to beat by the way... The sailing REALLY drove me off. I don't think it was bad as it added a lot of things to find. I just simply didn't like it.

All my stress comes from my family or school. Or apparently random viruses that I still don't know how I even got.

Hell should be allowed; it's a place really. And heck, I even heard Teacher say it in public school, I seen it used in some E for everyone games (Generally aged 10+)

Also irony: "Thank god Hell is an allowed word around here."

Still downloading this thing I need. I don't like how the downloader keeps changing from blue, to green, to lime, to blue, to orange, to yellow, to pink, to red, to lime again...

Sorry to hear that your week has been going badly

Now that Sunday is coming up hopefully your next week will be better. Lol, at my school I've learned that a couple of locks are easy to get into using different methods, I only use it if they are locked and I've left something in it though

That sucks. I knew you had that one bad day, but an entire week of bad luck is a pain.

Hopefully you next week will be a lot better. :0

septembern : septembern : The door lock on the computer lab door is just a bad method
of locking. I only mostly say that because it doesn't require any sheer
force to bust open, and it doesn't require any tools to unlock it. All
you need to do is literally reach under the door, and lift the lock on
the right side door off the ground, and spin it so it doesn't fall back
down. Then you just pull the door open a bit and the lock on the left
door will simply snap out of place because the lock bends under
pressure (doesn't cause damage, as it snaps back in place) thus, you
can open the door. And you can shut it and relock it again by pushing
the locked nut back in place, close the door, and reposition the bottom
lock of the previous door back in place.

I may have described this in a very confusing manner. But all in all,
the whole process takes only about 20 seconds and isn't complicated. XD.

vizwiz123 : Thankies for the good wishes, I hope it is too. It better be because next week is pretty much the last week before exams start. There's a few days after that but it's mostly just reviewing.

EDIT: Wow. This entire post turned out much stranger then it showed in the preview. LOL.
