I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but I can't find any duplicate thread of it. Anyways, what I mean by this, is what is the formula on what determines how quickly you gain EXP for being idle? When I post, it goes down by a few seconds, meaning I gain EXP faster of course. However, after a while, it begins to gradually crawl back up again. What are all the factors that determines how much it goes down so you gain EXP faster for being idle, and what determines how much it goes up, taking longer to gain EXP for being idle??

What is Level and EXP, and how do I get more EXP?
EXP is calculated from your amount of posts and how long it's been since you registered. Level is calculated from EXP. You gain increasing amounts of EXP by posting, and by being registered longer.

Just from posting for a while I've noticed that as your level increases, it takes more for you to level up. It's not that you're getting less experience. The difference is that you need more experience.

As you gain more experience, your experience to get to the next level ratio goes up.

You may need 11 EXP for one level, and you could go up a level by being idle for a few months, but if you are needing like 50 EXP for another, it can take a few weeks to gain a level while idle.

Basically, as the need for EXP goes up, so does the amount you get.
