I don't like the idea of infant baptism. If it's supposed to symbolize a relationship with Christ and our change of heart and all of those sorts of things then what purpose would baptizing a baby serve? Seems more like people hoping a quick dunk in the pool will save their kids

It was always explained to me that Baptism was like a wedding ring, it isn't necessary for you to be saved, but it shows everyone your faith and commitment. That's really brave of you to do!
