Some people think that the world will get hit by an asteroid. Well that's not likely to happen seeing as Jupiter is earth's protector and sucks up all the asteroids and such in space keeping it from hitting earth.

As for other theories, I know there are many. I honestly think 2012 is going to come and go like 2000 did and life will go on living.
