Hey, I wanted to post about this game I can't wait to get, Sonic Generations. This will be the best one out of every Sonic game so far! You can play as Classic Sonic or Modern Sonic, and race through tons of re-done and re-built levels from the past games. Not to mention the music must be great too

. I think that it's great for it being only $60, being that it's going to probably win game of the year when released and such. There isn't much of a release date yet, only that it will be out during the holidays.
As quoted from it's page on Sega's official site:

"Set across three defining eras from 20 years of Sonic the Hedgehog video game history, the instantly recognizable environments of Sonic Generations have been re-built in stunning HD and are now playable in both classic side scrolling 2D from 1991, as well as modern 3D style found in Sonicâ€™s most recent adventures.Â Each incarnation of Sonic in Sonic Generations comes complete with his trademark special move, Spin Dash and Spin Attack for Classic Sonic, and the Homing Attack and Sonic Boost for Modern Sonic.Â An innovative new interactive menu system allows for complete immersion in Sonicâ€™s universe with favorite characters and hidden treasures gradually being revealed throughout the game."

I showed that to tell pretty much what, other than being a die-hard Sonic fan, why I decided that I want to get it. There have been a few gameplay vids of it so far, along with a trailer, which after watching, blew my mind away, making me want it even more. They weren't kidding about the graphics being great, I can tell you that

. The story plot is great as well, not to mention. It's always great to see a story plot that hasn't already been done by a different game series or from that series in particular ^-^.
