My advice, find a standing position that you're comfortable in...and stand like that the entire 9 hours. Other than that..take a sitting break for a minute or two.

My grandma works in a cold room all day standing
she starting taking them and her

If it's joints, or muscles, find the time and a place in the back, or room to stretch, or something, roll your ankles, do a quick set of lunges, I'm sure that would help. congratz on the job, I know of that store, though I have never been.

Well..congrats ....for you though a bit late. But I would surely say that work needs a lot of patience...also I used to work standing on my feet for about ten hours...for my initial jobs....but I did try to have some sits you should always try to balance things....Good Luck.
