This morning when I logged on to my computer, I noticed that the wireless internet didn't connect automatically. I opened the window and got it to connect manually. Partway through the connection process, a box popped up that said, "Windows has detected an IP address conflict."

Does anyone know what might have caused this? I've never seen it before and I can't think of why there would be another computer with my IP that is accessing my secure wireless network. I'll attach a picture of the box that appeared.

This has happened to me before all you do is unhook your internet connection for a couple hours then you hook it up all over again and if that doesn't work try resetting your ip or your home connection tell me how it works out it could be just that your computer is having some interference in the connection

hackerman was too lazy to make a layout so he did this instead the post is down there

hackerman :

I actually showed the box to my friend a few hours later and he figured it out. He's a videogame programming major, so he has tech knowledge. He thought it was simply that I'm not the network administrator and I happened to be using more bandwidth than the administrator, so it... did that. Basically, it's not a problem.

I'm the thread maker and I'm done with it, so I'll close it. If anyone else would like any info about this, you can always PM me.
