This thread is dedicated to all of the literature I've been working on in the past.. er... long time...

To save posting space, I will post a large chunk of story chapters/ and some times, if you're lucky... Like right now, I'll post an entire book at once.

Here's the first book of my Shattered Dynasty Series. Enjoy! (By the way, it's not perfect, but the sequel will largely improve on it.)

Shattered Dynasty ® -- by alek bock, 2004-2005-2006

~Foreword~
In this adventure, great mystery, darkness, peril, and creatures beyond imagination three heroes must face..... And one Elemental Serpent unleashes the adventure of a lifetime. Within these mystical pages, you will learn how a Mage apprentice, an elder wizard, and one man could determine the fate of everyone around them. The evil Jerai was seemed to be killed after the great battle the three heroes faced..... But no..... That was only a test dummy, Zara and Jerai, Zara's apprentice, try their hardest to take the four elemental crystal shards that scattered across one world, and 2 in another after the greatest challenge Jurde, Zuruma, and Shadu Hokira would ever face..... Or so they thought........ The Flames of Mortis, The Aroura of Keran, The Spire of Grahdan, and The Mystic of Theserus had divided into four parts, in which returned to where they once originated, The Flame Cave, The Sectioned Glacier, The Clay Plains, and The Magical Circle of Darkness, although seeming simple, 'twas not, for you see, The Clay Plains and The Magical Circle of Darkness are in another time zone, and Jurde, Zuruma, and Shadu must solve a way to get all four without inflicting difference in the future, nor hurting the past or their present time zone. The adventure they must face will be perilous, dangerous, and Tragic, for if they do not complete the quest of the Young Mystic, the Warrior, and the SpellCaster, all of Akira and time will cease to exist.

Dedicated to my family, for encouraging me to pursue my dream of making games and writing novels

Before the war of two times....

Icemoon Day 4
“Where’s the artifact we were supposed to look for?” One soldier asked stupidly.
”How the hell should I know?” The other soldier gestured sarcastically to the temple doors.

“Sir EhGezeral will be pissed if we don’t get this artifact!”
“Then we might as well hurry, I wanna get a bonus!”

~Prologue~
The world will never be the same. Everything is smothered in lies... and the whole world around me is world full of lies.. never shall the truth be revealed, it's always hidden by little excuses, and what it seems to be... the very air around me.... is completely swallowed in the darkness... My love.... Raina, why did you go? Why did you leave me alone, to forever live in the misery and pain I must dread every passing day? Raina.... Why you? Why me? No one ever brought me as much joy as you did, and on our very wedding day..... You had to say goodbye... There's a moment where someone finally opens their heart, but the only thing I had received... Was a frigid, cold slap of reality, and on that fateful day, you departed from this world... Goodbye, Raina, I will forever love you, even though we are worlds apart. So, the only thing left unsaid, is that you were my life, and now, i don't even think there was a point in life to start with. I will just wait until I finally wither away. Because there is no longer a place to go to... And since there's no point in living any longer, I have a small amount of hope left, and I have decided to fight for your revival. I will try my hardest, and fight to bring our Dynasty back to normal... Zara will not last too long, and I'll steal the revival potion from him... We will be together, alive or not! Until we meet again, Raina, you will still rest in your grave, but not for long, you will soon be alive, again, human flesh and blood... Goodbye... For now...

Chapter I |The Ogrewood Forest of forbidden lands|

Shadu, the man bearing the pain of losing his wife, Raina, made a commitment. He was going to defeat Zara... But the Dynasty of Akira is so large, it will take an enormous amount of time to get to the Castle upon which the ruler, Zara sits. Shadu will have to be very strong to defeat the rebellion , but it will be worth it... Every single warrior will regret they ever tried to mess with Shadu. Right now, Shadu is in the Ogrewood Forest of forbidden lands, and it perfectly suits its name... Forbidden. You see, the trail to a city is just right ahead. Shadu could see some brick houses in the distance with a glance. but, there's just one problem... The giant 20 foot monster that guards the entrance doesn't let anybody leave, at least, not when the lazy thing is actually awake, that's the only time it's conscious enough to stand guard. The only opportunity that Shadu had of finally getting back to civilization, hopefully... He did not even know of this forest until now, heck, he may not even know if he's on the same planet! Just getting to the nearest city is an accomplishment! The only thing that kept Shadu from becoming a new piece of pavement was a three inch thick tree, not much for coverage. The rock golem was still awake after thirty minutes of guarding... That's a first. And, Shadu became a little bored after still standing behind the tree after another hour or so, but he refused to let up. He would stand there no matter how long it took to get that rare oppurtunity to escape... But, just then, he decided to look around the area he was standing at without moving. He just observed, until, he noticed something bronze colored shining in the sunlight under a patch of grass. But it would be far too risky to try to reach for the unkown item, for the rock golem was still awake. That seemed impossible... Shadu was waiting for a staggering twelve hours straight, and STILL, the rock golem was awake! Well, Shadu wasn't going anywhere, and the tree was wide enough for the freakishly huge monster not to notice him, so he took a nap. The grass made a sort of a cushion under him, and he fell asleep quickly. Three full hours had past, and Shadu snored loud... The Golem, still awake, reacted to the noise, and walked over to the tree, noticing Shadu. The beast smashed the tree, and it was a pretty efficient wake up call for the slumbering wanderer. Shadu awoke, and noticed the Towering Golem before his eyes, and he quickly grabbed the bronze object in the grass, hoping it would be of some use. as he picked it up, there was a leather handle, and the bronze part had shown, it was a bronze sword! There was only one problem, the rock golem was obviously made of... You guessed it! Pure stone! Shadu only followed his reflects and noticed a pond. Shadu jumped out of the way as the golem pounded the ground in with an extremely massive fist. Not knowing what to do, Shadu jumped into the pond, and the golem was so dull-headed, it gave up on looking for Shadu and turned away, and as it turned away, there was a small green crystal on the back of its head. Shadu knew what to do, he quickly jumped out of the water and thrust with all his might toward the gem, and the golem shattered into pebbles, leaving behind a small shield, just made of wood, but it would be good for Shadu to use for defense. Being very relieved that the monster was defeated, Shadu walked away from the forest and onto the trail, but as soon as he took another step, the golem's gem pieces started to glow, and the beast reformed! Shadu stared in surprise and shouted, "Damn! I'll never get out of here!" He took out his sword again, and prepared to fight to the very end, But, the debris from the broken tree started to shake, and they lit up in flames, but that wasn't the only thing... They were directly aimed at the golem! They lifted up from the ground, and flew right at the adversary, making it spark up and stagger backward, and it fell into the pond. Then, a bolt of lightning came from the sky, and hit the pond, shocking the gem on the back of the towering golem, and disintegrated, making the golem once again disassembled. Shadu had been saved... But from who? Or what? "I thought this forest was forbidden, I hope you learned your lesson!" Then, a girl in a white robe holding a staff stepped forth from the bushes. "Listen, bub, stay out of this forest, I mean it! Come with me, i'll bring you to my hometown, the city of Ogrewood." Shadu responded curiously, "Thank you, but, can you tell me your name?" The girl said, "If you must know, my name's Jurde. Now come on! We have to go!" Shadu followed Jurde to the nearby city to spend the night at an inn and ask her some questions.

Chapter II |Jurde's hometown|

Shadu and Jurde followed the path back to Ogrewood, and the trees around them seemed healthy, probably because the pond water was as fresh as grapes picked off of a vine. Besides that, there was really nothing else to look at on the way back to Ogrewood. but, there was a bush or two, not really exciting, though. As they were treading down the path back to Jurde's hometown, one of the bushes moved! Shadu became alarmed and took out his sword and shield, and Jurde took out her staff. Jurde used reveal, and the bush became transparent. Shadu looked closely at the object or person behind the bushes. "Just as I suspected!" Shadu exclaimed. "A Thief!" The thief jumped out of the bush and yelled, "Ha! Just because you found me doesn't mean I can't steal anything. Watch out! You may have a huge gap in your pocket once I'm done with you!" The thief ran towards Shadu, but the thief was smacked out of the way by Shadu's shield. Jurde took the oppurtunity to use quake. The very ground below the thief lifted, and the foe was shot right into the sky! "Woo! Took care of him, didn't we?" Jurde said. Shadu responded, "Yeah! I could really need you in tight spots like this!" "Really? Cool! I'll join! Just tell me where we'll be going next after packing my things and leaving Ogrewood. Jurde said. Just then, Shadu's thoughts raced through his head like a raven pursuing its pray. The only thing he thought then was, "Goodbye, Raina." "Hey! I didn’t catch your name!" Jurde asked. Shadu stopped day dreaming and said, "Oh, uh, my name's Shadu." "Shadu, that's a nice name!" Jurde said. Shadu thought for a second that Jurde was hitting on him. Walking on and on, the sun began to take a toll on the two, but they didn't give up, the long walk to Ossa was almost over, but almost seemed like a long time, like forever... "Ah, finally, we made it! Ha! Woo hoo!" Jurde cheered, for their long walk was finally over! "Welcome back, Jurde, you got the youth water?" An elderly man asked. "Sure thing, grandpa! Here it is!" Jurde handed over a sparkling vial of water to her grandfather. But.... Youth water? Could it really be?! Water that refrains aging? It seemed almost impossible for that little bottle of seemingly normal water could give youth... Jurde's grandfather said after consuming the bottle, "Thanks! I look and feel 20 years younger! You're such a good grandchild! Oh, Who's you're friend?" "Oh, this is Shadu, Shadu, meet Zuruma! He's the town's wizard, and my grandpa!" Jurde said. Just then, the thoughts came back to Shadu, that horrifying day, when Raina died.. All that Raina gave Shadu to remember her by was that painful memory... It was like a dagger through his heart, but no one took it out... "Hello, hello?! Shadu! Earth to Shadu!" Jurde was a little angry that he seemed to ignore her. "SNAP OUT OF IT!!!" Jurde slapped Shadu, and he focused out of daydreaming. "Uh... Hey! You didn't have to slap me like that!!" Shadu shouted angrily. "No, no, no, Jurde don't slap him! Here, Shadu, let me help heal the slap mark, Restore!!" Zuruma casted a bright light, and the slap mark was gone! "Hey, thanks, Zuruma." Shadu got up after being slapped, and brushed off after hitting the ground. Zuruma told Shadu, "There is an inn, I'll inform the clerk and reserve you a room, while you take a little tour of our town." "I'll show him around!" Jurde told Zuruma. "very well, see you in a few hours..." Zuruma said as he walked away. "Now, Time to look around!; Jurde said welcomingly. Shadu followed her around, but then they heard someone in an alleyway. "Psst!" The person whispered. "Ooh, is that your girlfriend?" The person asked. Jurde Snapped, "HEY!! IF YOU WANNA KEEP ALL 30 OF YOUR TEETH, I SUGGEST YOU SHUT YOUR TRAP!" She took out her staff angrily. "whoa, don't you think we should leave him alone, he's not worth it." Shadu told Jurde. The person snapped back, "Fine, you asked for it, you'll regret acting violent toward me!" the medal on his neck started to glow, and wings formed in his back. " Have you seen true dark power before? Well, now you will!" The wings on his back spread, and flames encircled him, the ground began to shake, and a dark staff appeared in front of him. Jurde jumped up in the air and hit him in the head, while Shadu was charging at him. The man was standing there, and the attacks seemed to take no affect. " I can't believe you actually think you can beat me! Maybe this will enlighten you on that I am simply unbeatable! Sonic wave!" The air around them became extremely violent, and it picked them up off of the ground. It did not affect the angel man, because he flew and watched Jurde and Shadu be flung up in the air. "Spire!" The man's hand lifted up, and a massive spike jolted out of the ground. This may be the end of Jurde and Shadu. " Not so fast, Jerai! Barrier of light!" All of a sudden, Zuruma stepped in, and waved his staff, a large sphere of light enveloped Jurde and Shadu, and as they fell, the spire evaporated, and dissolved with every inch the Shadu and Jurde declined. " No, Zuruma! This time you won't get away! Climhazzard!" A wall of darkness circled around the area, and there was no escape. " Why do you even want this useless orb anyway? To add it to your collection?" Zuruma was furious, and his staff turned a light blue color. "Soul Wave!" White wings spread in the back of Zuruma, and a Cherub flew behind him with a wide array of arrows, ones of fire, ice, and thunder combined together to make a platinum arrow, one that pierced right through Jerai, Jerai's wings folded in, he fell to the ground, and struggled to stand. " Why did you have to make it come to this, Jerai, why do I have to kill you?" Zuruma reluctantly lifted his staff "I must smite you for the good of this town..." Zuruma shot a wave of light at Jerai, and Jerai was no more. " I am sorry, Jerai, it had to be done." A distant voice said, " You will soon be shown your fate, and the lake will show it to your entire town. If you want your little town to stay in one piece, I suggest you stop what is beneath. You do not know what lies under the waters of that lake." Zuruma had a bad feeling about what was going to happen. A slight tremor began below their feet, and the lake on the other side of town, began to form small waves... What was beneath, they did not want to know, but It had to be stopped, no matter what, the entire town was at stake! "We cannot wait any longer..." Zuruma said. "We must smite what is below the waters of that lake." Shadu walked up to Zuruma and said, "Sorry for what happened back there, I was foolish..." "There is neither any need nor time to apologize, we must fight!" Jurde yelped, "Grandpa! Wait! Do I have to--" Zuruma interupted, "Stay strong, your heart will guide you through this. This will be a challenge, but do not be afraid." The three of them ran up to the lake, leaving their fears behind. The villagers came out of their houses in horror, and the women sent their children back inside. This Would be a battle of great courage, but it had to be done... More tremors formed beneath them, each one growing more violent than the ones before them. Zuruma, Jurde, and Shadu looked at the deep, dark waters of the lake, and saw a blue glowing light coming closer and closer..... Until finally, something swam at a a rapid pace toward the surface, faster and faster. A loud Wailing cry brought all of the villagers to their knees. A huge monstrosity shot out of the water, and the three watched in horror as the creature rose higher and higher, every scale had intimidation.... "No, the serpent of the four sages... Like the one in that scroll..." Zuruma held his ground, and braced himself for the worst. "You know about this monster? What did the scroll say?" Shadu asked Zuruma with great curiosity. " It said... 'All the mortals with little might, is who the spirit serpent will smite.' I thought it was a legend... but it's not, we must fight, no matter what the cost--" "Whoa, grandpa, you expect me to fight off a serpent? I'm like a french fry to this thing!" Shadu blurted out. " Just believe in yourself.." " I believe you're completely insane!" Shadu was very doubtful that the serpent wouldn't think of him as a toothpick. "This is a serious matter!" Zuruma snapped at Shadu. "Okay, go fight him off with that twig you have there, you probably won't get too far." "Grandpa's right, this is serious!" Jurde shouted angrily, hitting Shadu repeatedly over the head with her staff. The serpent looked at them like they were crazy, one yelling at another, Jurde hitting Shadu over the head. These were VERY unlikely heroes. "Stop! Now we must fight, it's getting stronger by the second!" Zuruma actually convinced the two to finally stop fighting, and get ready for the real battle. A diamond was on the serpent's forehead, but it had four different colors. Red, blue, yellow, and black. Zuruma began to cast a spell on this very strong adversary, and a small flame ring shot out at it, but even that had no affect. Shadu Circled around for a distraction, while Jurde began to cast magic. Zuruma's necklace began to glow, and his staff was glowing as well. A massive stream of light bursted out, and the serpent flinched a little bit, but nothing seemed to work. Nothing at all. Shadu took out his sword, and thrust at the serpent, but all it did was break the sword, Shadu could no longer stay in the battle, he had no weapon! But he wouldn't fight, he would create another distraction for Jurde. Finally, Jurde had enough magic power to cast the spell, and a spell so strong, it critically damaged the serpent, But Jurde had no more magic power left to battle, she had one magic bubble, though, it would restore magic enough so she could battle again. She used it, and cast flame, the towering serpent began to weaken even more. Shadu still had no weapon, until, he noticed a shiny silver item behind the serpent. He ran toward it, and took the item, it turned out to be a silver blade, strong enough to deal some minor damage. Zuruma Caste barrier around everyone, including the villagers, so no one would get hurt for what he was going to do next. He pulled out a scroll, and a huge cloud formed above the serpent. A massive lightning bolt came crashing down, and it made the serpent fall to the ground. The serpent let out a loud cry, and the diamond on his forehead floated above it. The diamond broke into four pieces, and the four pieces floated away into different lands, but two of them randomly disappeared... "No! Where did the other two shards go?" Zuruma watched as two of the shards faded away. Jurde walked up to Zuruma "You were brave out there, grandpa! What do we do now? Are we gonna go adventuring?" Zuruma looked a little worried, but responded, "It might be a hard experience for you... Are you willing to take the challenge?" "Yes, I'm ready, grandpa!"Jurde smiled. "For the night, we should prepare and gather equipment, we cannot go out there without something to fight with." Zuruma Handed Shadu and Jurde a five-hundred gold coin, enough to pay for an entire array of weaponry and potions. " Shadu, you are a stranger to this town, yet, Jurde has your trust. What are you fighting for? What do you seek?" Zuruma asked as he handed Them the coin. "I have alot to fight for. My village, my fiancee, and the ruler who was overthrown... The ruler of my village... Now Zara rules it... I have hope." Shadu said strongly as he received the gold coin and walked toward the blacksmith's shop. Jurde asked, "You're getting married? And what happened to your soon-to-be wife?" "She... Died. But Zara has a feather in his castle, but he won't let anyone even see it. I need to steal it in order to revive my 'soon-to-be wife'. That's all I want to do." Shadu looked down in despair. "Whoa, sorry, I didn't know it was like that!" Jurde said. Finally, they reached the blacksmith and walked in. "Hi, what are ya here for? I heard something really loud out there, and I looked, I ran back in my tent right when I saw that serpent!" The blacksmith said, introducing them to a massive variety of weapons. Maces, spiked flails, staffs, swords, knives, battle axes, pirate cutlass', and even spiked disk blades! "Don't worry, all of these are now at half price for you! You saved our entire village!" Jurde's eyes gleamed when she saw a crystal staff that was shinier than the waters of the lake. She bought it with excitement, and traded in her old staff. Shadu was very interested in the cutlass. He also bought his favorite weapon, and traded in his old one. "We'll need some supplies for this 'journey' right?" Shadu asked sarcastically. "Don't make me slap you again, I bet the last time hurt like hell, right?" Jurde looked at Shadu, ready to slap him. " Oops, let's go get some items, you can never be too prepared." Shadu said as he walked out. "Hey! Wait up!" Jurde yelped as she ran after Shadu.
Now they went to the item shop to get prepared. "Hello, see anything you are interested in?" The girl at the counter asked. "for you, everything is free, after all, you saved us from being fried." Shadu stocked up on ten healing bottles, and Jurde took thirteen antidotes. Zuruma was still waiting at the inn. Shadu and Jurde picked what they needed, and went to the inn for the plans to where to go next. They walked in, and the man at the counter ran in front of them with excitement. "You! Please sign the cover of my book! I'm hoping to get it published to other villages!" "Ok, here. I'll sign it. But nobody even knows that we exist, besides this village!" Shadu said trying to find logic in this situation. "Listen, that scream was so loud, the neighboring villages had to have heard it, and, the diamond thingy was so shiny, it looked like it was another sun!" The inn keeper was very joyous that Jurde and Shadu signed it, and Zuruma's signature was already on it. Basically they could stay the night for free if they signed the inkeeper's book, so they obviously did, who wouldn't want something free? Zuruma walked down the stairs, and noticed Shadu and Jurde were done looking for supplies. "You're here! Come on upstairs!" Zuruma waved them in. Jurde and Shadu went upstairs to talk about their plans. "There is a town a little farther from here, maybe someone will know what happened to the shards." Zuruma said, pointing his finger to a mark of what appeared to be a town on a small map. "Why exactly do we think they know anything, anyway? I mean, this happened just a few minutes ago. It's not like anyone there takes precise notes about these things, anyway." Shadu outbursted randomly. "I did not mention yet, that there is a temple there, but that will only have a chance at being the location of the first shard." Zuruma rsponded in a rather serious mood. "Grandpa, I'm scared. Will there be scary monsters?" Jurde asked in a shakey voice. "Be strong, Jurde, just believe in yourself. There is nothing to be afraid of." Zuruma responded convincingly. "Ha, I cannot believe you think you can unite the shards by yourselves..." A mysterious voice echoed in the distance. "So what if you defeated the serpent? That was Phase one of my plan, you are basically helping me out! When you broke the crystal, two of them scattered in our time zone, and two of them disappeared into the far future." "These four shards do not only involve your little world, but It can inflict cataclismic damage to all of the time zones in existence!" "I'm so glad you were foolish enough to do such a thing as break the diamond of the four elements! No problem for me, For once I get all four shards in my hands, I can control your very movements, the time barrier, the sound barrier, and every single element in your pathetic world!" "You will pay for this, whoever you are!" Zuruma lifted his staff. "You cannot reach me, I am a Ruler of this pathetic world, only so I can get the shards!" "And Shadu, your wife looks so cute when she cannot move anymore, nor breathe!" "You bastard! How dare you mention her death! I will kill you myself!" Shadu snapped angrily. "Goodbye, Until then." "Get back here!" The inn keeper walked up the stairs and witnessed Shadu yelling, in which the moment the keeper came in, the force was gone, so all that he did was turn around and mumble, "Looney...." and walked back down the stairs. Shadu stood there, very embarrassed. "Anyway, let us continue our plan." Zuruma said. "We must go to the temple in the next town to see if the first shard is there." The inkeeper walked back up to the room and said, "We have to put out the candles, you can talk in the morning. Please tell looney boy to shut up, too." "Very well, good night." Zuruma told Jurde and Shadu, and the candles burned out, and the three of them slept until the morning.
The mysterious force watched upon the three. "Wow, they are such determined losers, too bad I'll have to get rid of them once they get here. So sad, they'll make it over here for nothing." Then, the voice began to fade, and disappear.

Chapter III |The search for the first shard|

Yet their adventure was not fully determined, they still devised a plan on how to retrieve the shards, and one way or another, their adventure wasn't going to be easy..... "I saw one of the shards scatter to the east." Said Zuruma. "Does this mean we have to leave our home, grandpa?." Jurde asked. "Yes, but don't worry, just think of it as an... adventure." Zuruma said convincingly. "Sir, Good morning." The Innkeeper greeted as the three walked down the stairs. "Good morning." Zuruma responded. Zuruma acted like there was nothing wrong, but something was terribly wrong. Who knows what those shards could do if they fell into the wrong hands? Zuruma did not even want to think about what would happen. And with Shadu wondering if he'll ever see Raina again horrified him, what if they never could say one last goodbye? It seemed as if things started to crumble like an unstable rock, nothing could hold up any longer. "Sir, is something wrong?" The innkeeper asked concerned. Zuruma said, "Oh, nothing is wrong, just got carried away, that is all." Zuruma snapped out of thinking of what may happen, and pulled five bronze coins out of his pocket, and paid the innkeeper as a tip. "Sir, I said you could stay the night for free." As the innkeeper stare at the coins amazed. "Who said that was for pay? consider it a gift." said Zuruma generously. "Raina.... will I ever see her again?" Shadu mumbled. "What did you say?" Jurde turned around. "Oh, nothing, why?" Shadu responded. 'Nothing' was a lie, everything seemed to be a lie, and the truth was far ahead. "We should be going, I found a city on the map I bought that may be of help to us." Zuruma whispered. "The only problem is, we have to go by boat, and I only have enough money to take a trip to our destination, and we won't have enough money to come back." Zuruma whispered again. "Okay, at least we can stay at the town if we don't have enough money." Shadu whispered back. "Well, sir, we must be going, see you around." Said Zuruma as the three of them walked out of the inn. The three walked out, and the sky was pure and clear, hardly any clouds in sight! The air was peaceful and crisp, and the birds were chirping, why must a such peaceful environment be a breeding ground for hell spawn? After the encounter with the serpent, the simple life ceased to exist, everything was so deep and complicated, and it almost made no sense. But they had to focus on another problem, what they could do to stop the chaos and what may happen if they don't. "No more stalling, we must go." Zuruma said as they walked out of the inn. "Okay, we must go through the east gate of here." Zuruma, Jurde, and Shadu walked through the gate and treaded further into the plains. Heavy winds carried up, but that was normal for an open area such as this. A paper smacked Shadu in the face, it was a flier! From a city nearby! "Hey, a city is nearby! We're close!" Shadu shouted as he took the paper off of his face. The wind started to whirl up even more, and then, the wind got so violent, it made Jurde flip over! "WOAH!" Jurde shouted as she flipped 3 times and fell on the ground. "Jurde!" Zuruma casted a restore spell on Jurde, and she got back up off her feet. "Phew, that wasn't very pleasant..." Jurde said as she brushed herself off after she went flying back. "Thanks grandpa." "Don't worry about it, Jurde." Zuruma responded cheerfully. "Hey, read this flier!" Shadu shouted out. The flier came from a town near a stream, and that was their ticket to getting closer and closer to the first shard. The three of them started to pace more and more, getting closer and closer to the nearest town. "Jurde, can't you use some magic or something?!" Shadu asked as he was struggling against the strong current of wind. "I'm out of strength! The spells I used on the golem wore me out!" Jurde responded screaming over the loud winds, which were carrying up stronger and stronger. To them, it felt like they were being lifted off of the ground, and thrown back. Almot like being slapped by a massive hand, and falling back 5 feet. Zuruma Gained enough strength to lift his staff and summon a magic barrier around them. At last, the three were able to walk without being tossed back, And they walked into the port town to get a ride to seaside city.

Chapter IV |A long ride|

As the three walked in, they could here the crunching of the broken tiles, this city evidently wasn't really greatly remodeled. But at least if they could get a ship to Seaside City, they would be all set. With only 12 Gold left, the three of them could go on the trip, and still have 3 Gold for the inn when they got there. The only problem about getting a possible ship to seaside city was, they didn't know where the dock was! How could they get a ship without even knowing where the dock was? A man who looked like a sailor probably knew where the dock was, so Zuruma walked up to him and asked, "Kind sir, do you know where the three of us may find a ship dock?" The sailor spit out his chewing tobacco, and replied, "Sure, it's back here, come with me. " Happily, and relieved, the three walked with him, and then noticed a big dock as they treaded further. The sailor told the three, "Now, Johnny might give you three a ride to seaside city, but don't get on his bad side." treading further to the dock, a grumpy man was standing in his sailboat, waiting for who-knows-what, and was just mumbling something which came to the three as some what of, "No good rotten kids, they have no respect these days.", hopefully he wasn't talking about Zuruma! Even with the grumpy man mumbling everything under his breath, the three walk to the sailboat in search of a ride. "Whaddya want, lousy rotten kids." The grumpy old man asked them. "Sir, is there some way we could possibly trouble you for a ride in your sailboat to Seaside city?" Zuruma asked kindly. "Eh... sure, just pay up 6 Gold." murmured the grumpy koot. Zuruma, Shadu, and Jurde got on the boat, and Shadu Tossed over 6 Gold to the ancient gramps. "Thank you, whippersnapper. To seaside city!" shouted he. The old koot steered the boat around, and the water was nice and sounded very calm. Sailing on and on, an hour later, 50 feet from Seaside city, and all of a sudden, the boat started to shake violently, the old man and the three heroes clinged to the boat for their lives. A loud roar consumed all the rest of the sound around them, and it got louder, and louder, and louder..... until this massive creature lunged onto the boat! Jurde, Shadu, and Zuruma jumped back up and prepared to defeat their adversary. The massive creature chased after them, and tore one half of the sail off. Zuruma caste a barrier to defend from fierce attacks, Shadu hacked away with his sword, hitting repeatedly, until the sword broke, Shadu backed out and started to defend with the shield he found. Jurde had no magic power left, she needed rest. But then, with her quick wits, she noticed she had a magic potion left, and drank it. Still clawing at everything in sight, the monster charged at the pole where the sail was, throwing the boat off course.
Zuruma reacted quickly and caste sonic wave, the sail flew in the wind violently, a massive tornado surrounded the sea monster. The adversary looked around in confusion as it was being picked up by the whirl of wind. Then, the sonic wave threw the beast and slammed it into the water. "I guess that's over with." Shadu said in relief. Then, the boat shook around again, the monster refused to give up! It charged angrily at the three. Zuruma casted zap, and a bolt of lightning slammed down on the monster and dazed it a little. Shadu charged at the beast, and struck with his sword, it cut the adversary, but it didn't even come close to stopping it. Jurde casted earth spike, 12 spikes surrounded the monster, and was still pretty strong, it smashed through all of the spikes. "What are we gonna do? it smashed through all of our attacks!" Jurde exclaimed. "All but one." Zuruma shouted. He held his staff out, and white feathers surrounded him. Zuruma charged head on at the monster. "No, Grandpa! You're crazy!" Jurde yelled. "Not quite, watch" Zuruma responded hurriedly. A white feather came down on the beast, it was a white sword, Zuruma jumped up and grabbed the sword, and struck. This monster of the sea was no more, it tumbled back, and collapsed, right into the water, and the sword disappeared. "You......... How?!" The old man managed to say, inarticulate. "Let's just say I'm good with magic" Zuruma Responded. "How much longer until we reach Seaside city?" Shadu asked. "Almost there, just sit tight." Mumbled the old man. At last, they saw land, and finally made it to seaside City. As the three walked in, a thief ran toward them. "Give me all of your money! NOW!" Said the thief. "Never!" Jurde yelled as she began to hit him. The thief pulled out a knife! Zuruma caste zap, and the pickpocket fell to the ground. He got back up! "I've never seen people with such vitality!" Zuruma exclaimed. "Yeah, well I'm determined to get your money!" Shouted the light-fingered thief. He threw the knife at Jurde, she stared in horror as it came at her, but then she saw a sword slash it out of the way, she was relieved. "Wha?! I've never seen someone so quick to react!" The thief shouted nervously. "That's because you don't know how pissed off a fighter can get!" Shadu shouted, and he then charged at the thief, and one slash, the thief ran like no tomorrow! "I'll tell ya, so many people are dishonest these days, why didn't that guy get a job, he wouldn't be getting his ass kicked by people." Shadu sighed. The three walked around the Seaside city, it was pretty small, and shouldn't have been considered a city, but hey, irony is all too common these days. "We must confront the mayor of this town." Zuruma told Jurde and Shadu. A man walked by. "Hey, do you know where the Mayor's house is?" Shadu asked the pedestrian. "Yeah, his house is two houses down from this one." Responded the man. "Thanks!" Thanked Shadu. Walking, and finally finding the house, the three stepped inside to talk to the Mayor. As they walked in, Shadu, Jurde, and Zuruma were Greeted by the mayor. "Hello, what may you be doing here?" The mayor asked politely. "Sir, We have some very terrible news to tell you." Zuruma responded. The mayor of this small city paced back and forth nervously wondering what the bad news was. "The....... The elemental Serpent has awakened.... And we saw one of the shards land near here." Zuruma told him. "What?! But that thing's supposed to be sealed down within Ossa city's lake! How did it awaken?!" Said he as then he began to pace back and forth faster and faster, who knows what may happen next! "Jerai.... Do you know of him?" Zuruma asked curiously. The mayor stopped pacing and had an inarticulate expression on his face. "Jerai....... Him, he's the one..." Hesitated the mayor. Zuruma responded curiously, "You know of him?". "Yes, he's the one who...." The mayor was saying as he was talking, then just hesitated.... "He did it again, didn't he?" The mayor asked. Pacing back and forth more rapidly, he clenched his fist, and then walked over to a book, and opened it. Zuruma leaned over and saw the title, it said, "Elemental Serpent.". Could this possibly be...? Was this Serpent precisely in the book? "Page 322.... Elemental awakening...." Said the mayor as he began to scan the text at a stressed, rapid pace. "Sir, do you know of the crystal shards embedded in the Elemental Serpent's head?" Asked the mayor, very stressed. "Yes.... We do, we were the ones to finally off that being of true horror." Zuruma Responded. "You have actually achieved such a feat? How?!" The mayor asked surprised and bewildered. "Indeed we have, but it was truly a challenge, in fact, we offed Jerai as well." Zuruma had responded confidently. "That is certainly a massive surprise, no human being has ever defeated the Elemental Serpent!" Shouted the mayor with joy. "However, we still have one problem, those shards scattered in different lands!" Zuruma responded. "Yes, I am sorry to be of no help, however, I can get you three a free night at our inn, and free food for the night." The mayor had responded as he stopped pacing back and forth. "Thanks, we appreciate it." Shadu outbursted. "Shut up, Shadu!" Whispered Jurde as she bashed him over the head with her staff. "Now, please take this in pass, the innkeeper will give you a map and a free night stay." Humbly said the mayor. "Thank you very greatly, sir, we appreciate it greatly." Zuruma thanked the mayor as the three walked out of the mayor's house and went to the inn. As the three of them walked in, the inn keeper knew what they were there for, and accepted the pass. The three of them discussed about what they were going to do in the morning over a cup of warm tea next to the fire, what they previously experienced was only a sample of challenges they would experience..... Zuruma looked at the map, and looked at their location, they were only a few days away from the fire Cave. However, they would have to get past the cave before it, and it was a dark one, followed by tons of traps..... Then they would finally reach the fire cave.... However, this was only one of the four main challenges, far more long challenges awaited them.... Soon after their plan for what they were going to do next, Zara and Jerai Were planning as well... Shadu, Jurde, and Zuruma went up the stairs of the inn and went to sleep... While Zara and Jerai schemed.....

Chapter V |First section of the Map|

The next morning, Zuruma, Jurde, and Shadu were well rested for the three days they would be up, searching for the first shard, hunting, hopefully they would find it. As the three of them were walking, upon them was a suspicious-looking cave, as their only way to find the fire cave, the three of them walked in. As Shadu, Zuruma, and Jurde walked in, the sound of dripping water sounded in the distance. The ground below their feet was old and crumbly, this was not the cave they were looking for, however, it would be the only way to find where they are heading for. Jurde walked a little faster than Shadu and Zuruma. "Wait! Jurde! Don't go so fast! We don't know what lies ahead!" Zuruma Shouted. Jurde walked continuously with no response. What had come over her? Her blank atitude was unlike her, usually she'd hit someone in the head if anyone gave her a problem. Now she's like a zombie, mysteriously treading into unknown areas. "Jurde! Are you outta your mind? Get back here!" Shadu exclaimed.... Still, no response as Jurde kept treading and treading.... The ground beneath them was tremoring.... Increasingly violent the tremor became... Something was coming... Something big.... And it was coming faster and faster, the shakes became so violent Jurde, Zuruma, and Shadu barely could stand! Still Jurde was walking, Zuruma ran up to her to try and stop her.... no use, she kept walking... What was she walking toward? What was so important that Ignoring Shadu and Zuruma is intended? The shake became more violent, a wall in the cave crumbled, and a chimera smashed through the wall, Zuruma and Shadu would have to face this demon alone.... Jurde walked behind the beast, still mezmerized. Shadu did not know what Jurde was doing, Zuruma casted bolt, the chimera flinched, and shook it off, it was charging toward them at speeds unimaginable, at the last second, Zuruma casted a barrier, blocking the attack the three-headed beast was about to use, sending it back three feet. Zuruma thought, "Impossible! I've never seen such strength in a monster in my life!" Jurde awoke, not knowing what was going on. She noticed Shadu and Zuruma in trouble, and casted flame, humorously lighting the chimera's tail on fire, sending it running through the other wall and into the distance of the cave. With Jurde snapping out of her trance, Shadu and Zuruma wondered to themselves, "What caused the trance?" it was all so mysterious, Jurde hadn't acted like this before, why now?. All of these thoughts raced through both of their minds, it was as if Jurde went into the trance in order to hit the Chimera from behind, it would be approximately twenty minutes before Jurde, Zuruma, or Shadu even spoke, the silence was broken with Shadu's voice in surprise, "What was all that back there?" once again silence began, Jurde turned toward them, with her eyes glowing, within was a fire neither Zuruma nor Shadu had ever seen in her before, 'twas almost as if her personality was replaced. Jurde stood in place, a look of anger was shown to Zuruma and Shadu, this was not Jurde, someone had taken over, someone with the power to do so would only be Zara, and why would he be in a cave soul-possessing? It was not as if someone had informed Zara of them venturing into a cave... Or did someone tell Zara where they were going?
As soon as Shadu and Zuruma began to think, Zara had taken over, controlling Jurde to charge after Shadu. "What now?! I can't attack her! She's my friend!" Shadu shouted as Jurde was being controlled to charge toward him. "We have no choice..." Zuruma responded quickly as he used a stun attack in order to only stun Jurde and not hurt her, the battle ended quickly, because Zara lost focus from the stun attack, releasing Jurde from control of him. "Wha--?" Jurde managed to say as she staggered. "W-why did you a-attack me?" "I am sorry, we had no choice, Jurde, Zara used a control spell on you, but you're okay now. Someone from the village told him we were going to the flame cave." Zuruma told Jurde. "I can't move...." Jurde managed to say before she collapsed. "Is there any place where we can bring her?!" "Not that I know of" "What do you mean?! Can't we turn back?!" "No, we can't, if we turn back, Zara will regain focus, we have to tread on." Shadu noticed the potion bottle slide out of Jurde's pocket, and quickly jumped to a rather wise conclusion. "We have to use that potion, quick!" Shadu exclaimed as he lunged toward the bottle and began to uncork it. "there, all set! Drink up and wake up, fast!" Jurde began to recover slowly, but not fast enough to recover within the next day, where Shadu, Jurde, and Zuruma took shelter for the night. The sound of birds echoing outside the cave awakened Jurde, it was morning, and they were'nt even close to getting the shard, the three of them were half asleep as they slowly awoke from a long slumber. Shadu fell asleep again without a care in the world, and Zuruma stood next to him and poked Shadu with his staff, no response, Shadu was asleep and it was most likely going to stay that way for a while. Jurde, angry and impatient, smacked Shadu with her shoe and he jumped in surprise. "Wake up, lazy bum! We don't have time to sleep! We have somethin' important to do!" Jurde bursted. "Wha-- eh?" Shadu moaned as he fell back to the floor and continued to sleep, this was a huge problem and Shadu had better wake up quickly, Zara could mindshift again. Jurde used her first barrier spell, picked up Shadu with it, and slammed him in the murky pond next to them. Obviously, he had woken up then, since it was the only way he could breathe. He resurfaced and gasped for air. "Hey! What was that for?!" Shadu exclaimed as he began to swim out of the pond. "Great, now I'm all wet, now this water'll just heat up and boil once we get in that firey cave thingy." "Don't you get it? It took you alot longer to wake up than Zuruma and I to wake up combined" Jurde Exclaimed. Then, when Shadu stood up, he heard someone saying:

The wings of Glory spread within everyone, it's just that to some, that Glory changes into something Evil, and The wings of the Dragon spread and continue to increase the evil inside the individual, until it becomes uncontrollable, and the person everyone knew and loved turns into a hellish monster, not knowing or caring of whom it hurts, and kills all joy in its path, Some say this is a fairy tale and does not exist, but it does, and the goodwill in everyone fades away upon how they treat someone. People whom care about others continue to grow benevolent wings of courage and strength, the selfish, foolish ones grow wings of hate and despair, spreading evil and hatred causing it to pass on to other people, the individual of the Wings of Hatred and Despair is the one who will become a follower of the underworld’s being called Satan, and the Benevolent, Kind individual whom with the Wings of Courage and Strength become a Follower of the Angels, and A cross between both would be a being of Pandora, and shall unleash hell and benevolence on either side it walks, forever doomed to a warped world of Hatred and Purity, shall fall into complete darkness and never to be seen again. People change from different times and it is just said that they are "Having a bad day" however, to most, their soul is growing an evil heart, and as it blackens, everyone around them in their perspective seem to turn grey, and depression engulfs them and turns their soul, the twisted ones search for Murdock, whom they would think would assist them in their troubles, Murdock tells the person to "Bear my mark and you shall be happy again." Those Markings are a Circle, upside down cross, and a 666 marking on their hand on the left or right. Wise ones when seeking help go to God, in which he says, "Bear My marking, and you'll be happy again." That mark, is a Golden cross that flashes in the sunlight, and destroys the evil in everyone's heart, and returns peace once again.

This Begins Part Two, The First Shard, and the Beginning of new chapters. Shadu Decides to record a Journal on his journeys with the paper he always brought with him, and the adventure had just begun for all of them.

Part Two [Journal] [Month: Icemoon, Day IV, journal entry #01]

(The following is being phrased by Shadu as it is being recorded in his Journal, the text in italics is Shadu's writing, the underlined text is what the other characters are doing while Shadu is writing, and the normal text is what else is happening while Shadu writes, or what happens after he writes.)

The journey so far has been long and hard, and I know I am not even close to finishing it. That hit by Jurde's shoe was a rude awakening! What is that shoe made of?! Anyway, We just left the cave that we slept in for the night, all of this stuff is so confusing, and I want to get to Zara fast, but I know it'll be at least two months before we even can reach that area, but with all of the elemental Shard business, I think we're going to have to find some sort of way to make it into the different time Zone, where the last two are. But if Zara gets Jurde again, it's all over, because last time she almost killed us all when she was being controlled! Jurde tells Shadu to speed up and stop writing, in which brings the first Journal Entry of many.

Part Two, Chapter VI [Flame Cave]
After treading for countless moments, Finally our heroes find themselves at the door of their first major obstacle. Written on the stone tablet next to the door inscribed in an ancient language was the beginning of their adventure. it was unintirpretable, none of the three could figure out what the tablet was telling, or what it may be warning. the three of them continued to walk inside... Then they all paused instantaneously at the moment in which they heard voices. Not normal voices, warped and murky, as if something were waiting in the shadows for them, Shadu could make of the voices that were mumbling... "Help us, help us find our way, we are lost, Murdock, please tell us where we can go to become happy again. We bear your marking, now please tell us where we have to go to find the path of happiness...." Shadu heard these words over and over in his head, then, the other voice in which said the "Wings of Glory" began to faintly strengthen, Shadu fell to the ground as the voices began to repeat the phrases in his head, Jurde and Zuruma Jerked backward in shock as Shadu began to shake violently, and making involuntary movements. The hurt hero began to rephrase parts of the voices in a mumbled tone. "wings of Glory .... being of Pandora... " Shadu violently fell backward and began to slowly recover. What were these peculiar things happening to the heroes, and what did they define? Two rephrases, Wings of Glory, and Being of Pandora, of all the words said, these were spoken, Jurde had been Posessed, but recovered, now Shadu was rephrasing words spoken from voices in his head... This must have meant something, because none of this happened until the three of them defeated the elemental Serpent, and after Zara found out about the Shards. Was Zara up to something again? It seems as if every time Shadu, Jurde, and Zuruma get closer to the main goal of getting one of the shards, something severe interferes and sets them back... Maybe Zara was stalling for time, until he could reverse the time Zones, and then there would be so much confusion he could snatch all of the elemental Shards at the same time. But our three heroes would soon find out Zara was not very far away from them... In fact, one of his minions spawned where the voices were projecting... He was truly stalling for time, the more time he stalls, the bigger charge the Reverse will have on the time Zones. Another problem is that how could they retreive the two shards in the other time zone if for one, they have to get it without changing the future, if they change the future, it will obliterate their current time zone, and for two, how on earth were they even supposed to get there and come back? So many questions left unanswered... But 'twas most likely Zara had been only recovering from the mind control, it takes massive amounts of energy, and also when Jurde was hit, it hit him, too. Zara was desperately stalling for time, Zuruma, Jurde, and Shadu had a long way before they could even claim the first shard. Shadu had gotten up in absolute surprise to find Zuruma and Jurde staring at him with curiosity. "What? I just fell over, that's all!" Shadu began to deny the mind games Zara started to play on the three of them. "Let's move on, we don't have enough time to stall like this." Agreeing, Jurde and Zuruma began to tread on, in which would only spawn obstacles. "Those searching for the flames of Mortis must seek their way alone" one of the voices began to say. A swirling tide of spirits whirlwinded as Shadu, Zuruma, and Jurde began to stare in amazement, then, a blinding flash engulfed the entire area. The tiles were tremoring violently, and knocked Shadu off his feet. Some stacks of unused tiles began to stack onto each other and made what looked to be a wall, then, three flames spawned from three spots in the wall, Doors formed. Could the final voice that had spoken mean that the three of them had to go their seperate ways in order to find the first shard of the Elemental Serpent? It seemed so, because just after the doors and walls formed, more tiles closed off the exit, and as well closed off all three's communication, walls formed between them, and now they must tread into the unknown in order to find one of the most important things that could seal their fate... As long as they are cautious, they will be able to overcome the obstacles the gods have set for them. This is a test...

[Journal] [Month: Icemoon: Day V, Journal Entry #02]

This cave is beginning to creep me out, first, I hear voices, and next, I start involuntarily rephrasing what they say! None of this makes sense right now, I hope this confusion won't last much longer. And then, out of nowhere, tiles start forming a wall, then more seal the exit and made walls to seperate us! I hope one of us finds the shard quick, and it's sure dark in here..... Shadu accidentally trips over a broken part of the wall, he can hardly see except for the dim torches that light a portion of the corridor...

Chapter VI Part II [Seperation]

Shadu began to slowly tread down the dark, humid corridor, the torches were so dim, it was almost as if they were dying. Small trickles of sweat began to roll down Shadu's face, every step he takes, it will proceed to get more and more warm. One of the torches went out and fell to the floor. As treading further, Shadu began to stagger, the heat was getting to him, and he thought that it would only be a matter of time before he would die. But just then, Shadu remembered the potion bottle in which he had purchased back in Ogre wood. Shadu reached into his steep pockets, and retrieved the bottle, hastily opening the cork, he took a massive gulp, and felt as good as new. The strength began to return to him, and he cooled off. Beginning to start treading, Shadu multi-tasked and put the cork back on the half-full potion as he began to walk further and further into the unknown...

Chapter VI Part III [From Jurde's point of view]

Jurde felt the heat worsening with each dreadful step. Why had these mere tiles formed a barrier to separate the three?
She gasped, and remembered the final voice that had spoken at the beginning of the cave, "Those seeking the flames of Mortis must seek their way alone." As Jurde began to walk further and further, she saw a light eject out of one of the cracks of the walls... But the light was not a warming yellow, 'twas the Devil's Red light, she knew what she had to do, Jurde must find out the source of the Red light, no matter how difficult it would be. If they must find the Flames of Mortis, they must find it quickly, before the heat would kill the three of them. Jurde walked sprinted toward the source of the Red Light, and found the one broken seem within the walls, and peered in. What she had found was to her own amazement.

Chapter VI Part IV [Zuruma's path walk]

A staff in one hand and holding his mystic necklace in the other, Zuruma put all of his hope into his other two companions. Trekking and treading in this dark, oblong-shaped corridor seemed to never end. Approximately two hundred steps into the unknown, a heavy crash Disturbed the quiet, eerie hallway of darkness. Zuruma jerked backward in surprise and startlement, but because the torches were so dim, he could not interpret who or what made the unexpected noise. Although he could not figure out what it was, he turned away, looking over his shoulder preparing for what may become a battle of sanity. Rattling of chains began to make a sound pattern further up ahead. Zuruma began to slightly lose his calm, because the loud crash and the chain, he might not make it through alive.

Chapter VI Part V [Stepping stones]

Shadu began to walk faster because of his instinct, he felt as if someone was following him, because it was far too quiet, and awkward silence often meant something was hiding beneath the shadows. An impossibility, Shadu thought he had heard water streaming close by. In utter curiosity, he began to walk in the direction of the watery noise, and came up to notice it wasn't water, it was a magma-like substance mixed with some sort of black liquid. This was the only way across, and Shadu noticed small stones left over from what looked like the roof collapsing's remains. He would have to take a great risk, in which he must cross this lake of death by putting all his hope into thinking that the light stones wouldn't sink under human weight. Squinting with fear, he placed one foot on a stone, and noticed it did not move, but to be cautious, he began to lightly sprint across the stones, watching his balance. Shadu must have found a way to the Flames of Mortis, however it did not look as if he was even halfway toward the destination.

Chapter VI Part VI [The Red Light Nears]

Jurde peered through the crack, to find to her own amazement that the Flames of Mortis were being held within the Chamber. Now, how could she enter the Chamber, that was the question. The curving hallway welcomed her to walk along it, Jurde began to walk mindlessly along the pathway, to find the entrance to the Chambers. Although her destination was in front of her, she could not enter, a seal, with what appeared to be Six handprint indents flashing dark and light letters. She must wait for the other two to reach the location, casting a cold barrier around herself, she sat against the wall and drifted off to sleep.

Chapter VI Part VII [Wits are Key]

Zuruma heard the Chain rattling coming closer, and becoming louder, the sound that followed was growling, and the heavy crash commenced once again. Zuruma lifted his staff in preparation for battle, but when the rattling had ceased, there was apparently nothing to worry about. Whatever was doing this was just trying to fool with his sanity, and drive him to fear and insanity, but nothing could break Zuruma that easily, he only becomes slightly startled when something confronts him. He then noticed a massive slab of rock that could hardly pass as a bridge, and it looked as if it would crumble any moment. Staring at death in the face and laughing, he began to run as fast as he could until he reached the other side, and walked deeper into uncharted territory. Treading further, he saw the seal, and Jurde sleeping, soon Zuruma would do the same thing, and wait for Shadu to become the third pair of hands to open the access to the Chamber.

Chapter VI Part VIII [The six hand lock]

Shadu made it past the stones, and began to run toward the edge of the pathway, and began to slowly lose stamina, taking out the potion again, he took another sip, and began to recover, continuing on, he walked to see Zuruma and Jurde sleeping. "Wake up! I'm here!" Shadu shouted loudly, Jurde woke up, refreshed, and Zuruma slowly got up, and told Shadu, "Shadu, Jurde, Press your hands on the other two seals." Shadu and Jurde began to do as asked, and placed their hands on the remaining two seals. The barrier faded away, and the three of them walked into the room to retrieve the Flames of Mortis. Jurde walked over to the first fragment and picked it up off of the floor. The fragment wouldn't budge until she tugged and it flew out of the socket. Shadu managed to catch it, but what happened next would be much worse than a stuck elemental piece. The ground began to emit a red light and a series of lines began to dart violently. The Red Light became ever stronger, and out of the walls, Mortis walked out from beneath the Shadows, This would be one of their toughest battles yet, and they would need every ounce of strength unleashed on it. The beast picked up its mighty flame hammer, and slammed the ground with immense force, and spikes slammed down on the doorway in which they entered. No escape was available, and now they must confront currently one of the largest enemies they have ever faced. The heavy slam sent Jurde, Zuruma, and Shadu tumbling off their feet. That first slam missed and nearly threw them, if one shot successfully hit one of the three, they would be surely dead instantly. "Divide and Disperse!" Zuruma reacted quickly, and shouted out a warning sign to Shadu and Jurde. This battle won't only be about knocking this beast down, they needed to use wits, and needed to divide and run around in circles to confuse it. "Jurde, you Take the left, Shadu, you take the right, I'll run under it." Getting up, the three of them did as said, Zuruma caste a normal flame barrier around Shadu and Jurde. His next maneuver would surprise Shadu and Jurde, the pendant of light on Zuruma's neck began to glow. "If we cannot defeat you with normal strength, we must use mystic!" However, it looked too late, the Massive golem stared in anger as it charged energy to lift up its hammer. However, it also looked as if it was doing something different besides charging. To the three's surprise, the Beast picked up its hammer, flames surrounded it, and then... It swung the hammer at Zuruma... "Grandpa! No!" Jurde leaped toward Zuruma, and closed her eyes with fear and despair... Then, she heard a heavy slam and a weird sound. Zuruma was standing with white wings fleshed out, and a blue circle surrounded him in his stance, For the Power of the Spell Caster was known for elite Mystics. "Mystic Lance!" Zuruma stood as a Javelin appeared from the circle of light. He jumped in the air and stabbed into the ground, for inside this weapon of purity lay a great power. Light began to form a circle around the room, and a massive, blinding, benevolent light unleashed and engulfed the entire room. A growling noise followed by the light fading, Shadu, Jurde, and Zuruma witness the disintegration of this massive monster. The war for the first Elemental Piece, the Flames of Mortis was finally finished.

The Legend of Two Times all began with a single fiber of land. This small spec of land turned into a patch of grass, and evolved,
In which it began to grow... The patch of grass turned into a yard, and created three people.
These three people were A Warrior, a Young Mystic, and a Spell Caster. So the legend lives on with these new heroes. This legend
happens every ten thousand years, and this has reached ten millennia ever since the Saviour of Elements.
The yard turned into a field, and Created Four leaders of these three people.
Hardships would be ahead, and these leaders were
Mortis, Keran, Theserus, and Grahdan,
Every leader had a purpose,
and these leaders taught
the three heroes
about how to
use elemental
magic.
This field evolved into an island, and
One new person stepped in.
The Fourth Hero Consisted
of unknown properties, and
turned out to become
a revived loved one
of a Heartbroken Warrior.
And so, the new island evolved into a continent,
adding small ponds, and fruit trees,
People began to form, and now there would be
animals forming...
That very Continent Turned into a World, and both man and
Beast could live in peace, however, ever since the so called
"Elemental Shards" existed, both man and Beast wanted
all four pieces, for if all four would be together again
and touched by impure hands, the fifth element would

This Begins Our Heroes' Adventure...

Journal Entry #03 [Flame moon Day 1]

We were lucky to even get out of there, not to mention leave and bring that big
shard with us. I like going on these adventures with my new friends, but something
puzzles me, if these were such precious elements, then how come they are in temples
and buildings out in the open? Shouldn't they be protected by some--- oh... yeah, that, never
mind, we almost got flattened by its guard, well, I need to wrap this up, we're almost at a village.
Jurde yells to Shadu to get his attention, she throws her shoe at him and makes a wake-up call
for him, Shadu stops writing to look up and see a village nearby.

Chapter VII [A new place to see]

Shadu, Jurde, and Zuruma walked toward the village, looking at the chirping birds, and the wind blowing the leaves. The three of them were exhausted from the battle for their first piece of adventure, the Flames of Mortis, and were relieved to find this very village. although they were pleased to find civilization, they could not find an inn to stay at, so, it wouldn't hurt to ask someone, right? Zuruma walked to a person and asked, "Do you know where we could possibly find an inn?" "Why, yes, I do know. The inn is two houses away." Responded the helpful villager. "Thank you." "You're welcome." The villager gave off a smile. Zuruma, Jurde, and Shadu were relieved to find a place to stay, they were tired, hungry, and felt filthy. Zuruma opened the door, and the three of them walked in. The smell of freshly baked bread and fresh, newly-brewed tea welcomed them in, these glorious scents removed all of their worries and drew them in. Shadu walked to the counter, and asked for a reservation. "But I don't have any money left-" Shadu was interrupted. "This rock will have to do." Zuruma interrupted. "A rock?! are you crazy?! He won't take a --" Once again he was interrupted. "Have you ever heard of a little thing called Spell Caster Rank alchemy? I can easily turn this mere rock into 12 crystal-coated sapphires. Just one Crystal-coated sapphire can rent 5 nights here!" Zuruma responded delightfully. "I suppose you two wouldn't mind five days of relaxing before we head off." Zuruma placed one crystal-coated Sapphire on the counter, and pushed it slowly toward the price book. "Five nights for three, please." Zuruma smiled. "right away, sir." The inn keeper responded as he recorded the payment. "You can sit at that table, dinner is about to be served." Zuruma Sat down, and so did Jurde and Shadu, now at least one week they could rest before Their final Journey in the current time zone. The very cosmos depended on them. "Light or thick ale, sir?" The Waiter asked Zuruma. "Light, please." Zuruma responded with a pleased look. The air was hearty and warm, Shadu could see workers making soup and bread, another getting the Ale. This should be a time for happiness and relief, but Shadu had more things on his mind. How did he ironically just appear in the forbidden forest? And how did he just randomly begin this adventure? So many things stirred in his mind, he never knew ending up in a forest would lead him to all of this... He just wanted to get Raina back, that's all he's after is to find her and steal that potion. "Your ale is here, sir, and for the cute girl we have apple cider." The waiter delivered an ale for Zuruma, Shadu, and gave an apple cider to Jurde. Everything was peaceful, warm air, people laughing, and best of all, a relaxing environment. Although at the moment everything was nice and joyous, Shadu still grieved about losing Raina. He thought to himself, "Will I ever find her again? Was she really killed, or was I knocked out before I saw what really happened to her?"

Chapter VII Part II- [Remembering the day...]
"Get up you stupid, useless vermin!" Zara lifted Shadu and threw him into the nearest wall at maximum force.
"You will find out the hard way what true strength is like!"
"Don't you dare hurt Raina!" Shadu stood up, staggering.
"If you hurt her, I promise that my sword will be the last thing you'll ever see!"
"Oh, please, a fowl little creature like you can't even so much as lay a hand on me!" Zara's hand turned gold.
"Do you want to see what I'll do to your precious Raina?"
Shadu picked up his sword and dashed toward Zara fiercely.
"You foolish mortal! I can command the ground below you to swallow you whole, and you want to challenge me?"
Zara raised his fist and slammed it onto the ground.
"This fist will be the last thing you'll ever see!" Zara used his hand to split the ground under Shadu, and the ground threw him into the air.
Passing out, Shadu mumbled "Hurt her and I kill you..."
"Now, for this weak little girl he prizes so much. You should be happy being killed by someone as glorious as me!" Zara ran toward Raina...

That was all Shadu could remember...

Chapter VII Part III- [Back to the present time]
Shadu snapped out of his remembrance and drank some ale, he then heard from the distance, "Your dinner is ready!" The waiter walked with the three heavy dishes,
"Wow! There's even Zaer fish here!" Jurde exclaimed in excitement,
"My favorite!"
Shadu looked at the freshly baked wheat bread, and especially the very tempting variety of soups on the table.
At the same time, Shadu and Jurde shouted,
"I'm taking the Zaer fish!"
In surprise, Jurde looked at Shadu in a rather angered manner,
"Fine, we'll split them! three for me, and one for you!----"
Shadu interrupted,
"I don't think so, missy, let's split it in half, you get two, and I get two!"
"Awww! But that's not fun!" Jurde whined.
Zuruma responded cheerfully,
"Honestly, don't fight over four fish, there's more coming, so don't worry,”
Zuruma sighed, “besides, two fish each is enough.”
Footsteps echoed, and one of the chefs came back with a full plate of Zaer fish.
“Twelve more fish for you, compliments of the inn.” Said the chef calmly.
Obviously, when you give an innkeeper a crystal-coated sapphire, you
Should get amazing service, there are only three ways to get them,
Killing someone and stealing them, SpellCaster rank alchemy, or being a person of very, very high royalty.
Grabbing a plate of six fish, Shadu quickly gobbled down the food like he never ate in his
Entire life.
Jurde, surprised at the pace Shadu was eating at, exclaimed, “Whoa, slow down there, you might just choke on one of those fish…”
Not listening, Shadu continued to heavily consume the food on his plate until, after around
Five seconds, the entire plate was empty.
“Honestly, Shadu,” Zuruma said, surprised, “did you even chew them first?”
“I don’t think I did..” Shadu mumbled as he grasped his ale and chugged it.
It was a human reaction, if you don’t eat for three days, you may quickly ‘Vacuum’ all of the food in desperation for nourishment.
Tired after eating at such an alarmingly fast pace, Shadu burped loudly and simply said,
“I think I’m gonna go to bed now, I’m tired as hell.”
”Alright, we’ll meet you up there later.” Jurde responded without expression (Too distracted eating.).

Shadu stood up, walked toward the staircase, and began to walk up the stairs one step at a time. Going to the bed he chose, Shadu plopped on it and quickly drifted off to a slumber.

Do Not Forget Your Destiny As It Has Been Formed…

Journal Entry #04 [MagusMoon, Day 4]
All I can remember when I woke up was this constant, rambling voice in my head from a dream, it’s wicked vague, and all it said was that I should look for her six wings, what the hell’s that supposed to mean? During the Two Times, almost everybody has wings, hidden or unhidden… All of this is too vague, I want answers! Why can’t answers come in a simpler form? Geez, I really wish that Raina was with me--- That’s it! The voice told me she’s alive, right? And she’s near! I need to find her, we’re checking out of the inn today, it’s the fifth day we’ve been able to relax and eat. When I find Raina, I will be a lot stronger, she’s what motivates me to live, and I’ll kill Zara if he even so much as laid a finger on her…
Zuruma Waves to Shadu, signaling for him to get ready to leave.

Chapter VIII [A frightening Discovery- Journey to another time- Keran’s Warning]

Shadu headed downstairs, following Zuruma and Jurde out the door.
“Thank you for staying, come along again.” The innkeeper managed to blurt out right before they left.
“Before we go, we must purchase better weaponry, with these weapons, we are no match for what lies ahead.” Zuruma said, giving Shadu and Jurde each a crystal coated sapphires.
Shadu, thrilled, runs to the blacksmith.
The array of weaponry was astonishing, masamunes, Katanas, Schimitars, but what really caught his eye was the Gretuzin, a sword that extends into the form of a metal bladefan.
“I’ll have one Gretuzin, please.” Shadu geeked out at the amazing, astonishing, astounding might of this legendary weapon.
“That’ll be 12,000 Gold pieces—“
”Whoa! A crystal coated sapphire?! Take the sword, thanks for the business!” The blacksmith gave Shadu the weapon and kind of nudged him out the door.
“Wow! It’s so cool!” Shadu’s eyes lit up, pressing the button on the handle, the blade split into four blades, and metal sheeted the spaces between them, forming a huge, sharp, deadly, metal fan.
Meanwhile, Jurde and Zuruma go to the mage shop, there were two hundred staffs, Jurde was drooling and just staring at the beauty of the weapons in their glory.
“I want the big, shiny one, grandpa! The one I can smash a lot of creepy monsters with!” Jurde shouted, tugging at Zuruma’s robe.
“Very well, I’ll have a Titan Ankh and the gem blade battlestaff.” Zuruma handed over 10 crystal coated Sapphires, and Jurde got the Titan Ankh she wanted. Zuruma fiddled with the battlestaff and enjoyed its shape.
“Very well, we must go and meet up with shadu.” Zuruma said, grasping the new weapon he purchased.
Leaving the shop, Zuruma and Jurde walk to Shadu, ready to leave, the three of them treaded toward the path that led to the Aurora of Keran.

The plains were vast, seemingly endless, the Aurora of Keran was a small blue dot in the distance, and the sun was beating on them heavily. Out of nowhere, a massive wave of white swept the ground, the grass turning into icy spikes. You could hear shouting in the distance,

“Tell me where he is, or I’ll kill you!” A mysterious, six-winged woman shouted.
“Let’s go see what’s up!” Shadu shouted as he ran quickly to the source of the yelling.

[ CHAPTER VIII PART TWO- She is alive/]

“Damn it, Keran! Tell me where he is or I’ll turn you into ice cubes!” The woman slammed her staff into the ground, jumped on it, kicked it in harder, and flipped over. A small knife came out of her pocket, and she struck Keran with a heavy slash.
“Calm down, missy, Geez, you shouldn’t hit Keran like that.” Shadu grabbed the woman’s shoulder, and she turned around…..

Shadu was stricken with awe, Raina was staring back at him!
”Shadu?!” Raina Gasped, hugging him.
“You wretched traveler! Think of this as a warning!” Keran slammed her hands together as Raina, Shadu, Zuruma, and Jurde jumped back and Shadu Hugged Raina tightly.
“I’ll never let anyone hurt you, I promise…” Shadu whispered in Raina’s ear.
“I know you will protect me, and I’ll protect you, too.” Raina whispered back.

“Diamond cutter!” Keran spread wings and flew into the air. At an extremely high velocity, she flew into the ground with one arm ready to press against it.

The entire ground Shadu and the others were standing on turned to an icy chill, and the area shook, lifting Shadu, Jurde, Zuruma, and Raina and slamming them onto their feet.

“Next time you want to fight me, try actually standing a chance!” Keran quickly disappeared and flew into her maze.

“Raina, are you all right?” Shadu asked, concerned deeply.
“I’m fine, thanks for asking.” Raina smiled, she was overjoyed to find Shadu alive.
“We mustn’t stand idly by, Keran is in there and we must take the shard!” Zuruma interrupted.
“If we don’t do something quick, Keran will fuse with the shard!” Jurde yelled loudly.
Shadu and Raina looked at each other, nodded, and ran into the maze.

The air became extremely cold, every step becoming colder and colder. Death was rearing its ugly head as Raina collapsed on the icy ground.

“Raina!” Shadu exclaimed with surprise.
“It’s nothing, just tired.” Raina responded, getting back up.
“Well, that’s good to hear you’re okay.” Jurde smiled, continuing to walk into the deep, seemingly endless maze.

Voices were singing and whispering like a thousand small symphonies. The frigid air could even freeze the very soul. Death was walking between the air, slipping slowly, stealthily behind every corner, and security was no longer with the four of them.

“ Take us with you. Please, Murdock, take us with you! Our souls are dying, there’s not a lot of time. Murdock, you said you would help us! You said we would be in eternal happiness! King Murdock, please hear our pleas for help, we are in need of your assistance!”

Voices constantly sketched through the air and sounded off in multiple directions. Ungodliness was the only thing surfacing from the dead cold air.

“Where do we go? There’s four different ways in!” Raina complained, then, thinking of a plan, she busted out loud, “Jurde, Zuruma, you go to the right, Shadu and I will go to the left.”

“Sounds like a perfect plan!” Jurde cheered. “Wait… How do you know our names?”
”You’ve been pretty known around here, you killed that big Elemental Serpent thing, right?” Raina responded quickly and thoroughly.

“Uh, yeah.. We’re here ‘cause it’s our fault for killing it.” Jurde giggled, trying to ease the problem. Raina, surprised, asked,
“And how did you manage to kill it?! That thing’s at least a hundred feet tall at the very least!”
Kicking the pebble of ice and looking up innocently, Jurde responded,
“Well, it’s hard to explain… It was actually pretty easy to kill it, I have to say.”
“Hey! We pitched in, too!” Shadu yelled back curiously.
“Right now, that is not an issue to discuss,” Zuruma broke up the argument, saying, “Our main priority is to get to Keran and steal her piece of the crystal.”

“He’s got a point, you know.” A voice out of nowhere suddenly burst out, “You’d better hurry, I already have a piece of it, and time’s slipping away!” A maniacal laugh filled the maze with terror. Who was it? And what was the person doing just teasing them?

“You morons don’t get it, do you? If I have one shard, I have all the power of that guardian!” Laughing loudly, a shard flew out of nowhere, and something popped out. “Grahdan! Kill them!”

The ground was turning into clay, and the ice that was soon everywhere turned into little icicles. A spire stabbed out of the floor, and Grahdan roared with anger and slammed his fist downward, catapulting Shadu, Jurde, Raina, and Zuruma high into the air.
“Banish these humans into the depths of fiery hell!”

Flames roared out of the ground and the icicles floating in midair changed shape. All the fragments of ice quickly shifted into swords, all seven hundred pieces flew at high velocities toward Shadu and the others. Time became still. Everyone, and everything froze in place, Shadu floated down to the ground slowly, and an angel had spawned from nowhere.
“You’re just a human, give up while you still can, it is wise. Leave this to Arch Gaia.”
“But….”
“It’s the only way to save your friends”
“I don’t understand”
“If you are so stubborn, take this, you may stand a chance”
“…What is it?”
“It’s the only way to shift between worlds.”
The angel begins to disappear, and Shadu is still left with many questions that are unanswered by this angel of wisdom.
“Find the strength in your heart, if you are strong enough, you may surpass the strength of a god.”
Time returned, and the swords darted quickly at Jurde, Raina, and Zuruma, while Shadu was standing in horror. … So maybe… These shards give you the ability to command the beasts inside it…
“Mortis! Unleash your volcanic rage!” Shadu threw the shard into the air, and Mortis Spawned from the air around it. Mortis quickly melted the swords of ice, and the others began to fall.
“Crap! I forgot about the falling part!” Shadu panicked, his friends would surely die if he did not do something quickly!
Mortis extended his arms and caught Zuruma, Jurde, and Raina.
“What a close call!” Shadu sighed with relief, but only to be backhanded by Grahdan. Shadu was sent flying into the plains, slamming into mounds of dirt and grass.
“You’re gonna pay for that!” Jurde summoned a cataclysmic wave of ice, fully encasing Grahdan in a block of frigid ice spires.
“Mortis! Melt it down!” Zuruma gestured at Grahdan, and Mortis blew a tornado of fire, fully engulfing the frozen deity, melting it and turning it into mud.
“How dare you! I will kill you for your insolence!” The voice grew near, and Jerai appeared!
Jerai waved his hand and the air began to split, a ring of fire came from under him, and his eyes glowed with fury. The flames moved at an incredible velocity and then engulfed Raina.
“Raina!” Shadu rushed to try and block the flames, but failed. “You bastard! You’re going to pay for that!” Shadu pressed the switch on his Gretuzin and began swinging the blade with blind rage. At most times, Shadu did not even know what he was doing, he was just blindly swinging, as if he had no soul.

One with a heavy heart shall become a dead soul. One who seeks vengeance shall become a pure soul. Losing someone is the most painful thing of all…

O’ heavens, part like the red sea and give way for the purest soul of all.

“Shadu! Stop!” Zuruma gestured for Shadu to stop attacking to notice what had happened to Raina, but he was far too distracted killing Jerai to even care.
“You caused my pain… And you’re gonna die for it!” Shadu threw the Gretuzin and it flew around like a boomerang. It hit Jerai roughly twenty times before flying back to Shadu’s hands. “If there are more people like you around here, then maybe I’ll just kill ALL OF YOU!”

Fury can sometimes reach a degree where it turns into insanity, taking full control of the being…

The wings of the Dragon spread and continue to increase the evil inside the individual, until it becomes uncontrollable, and the person everyone knew and loved turns into a hellish monster, not knowing or caring of whom it hurts, and kills all joy in its path.

They become the being of Pandora…

Shadu’s anger flowed endlessly, he was blind with rage as he dashed toward Jerai and charged his strength into his sword….

Shadu slashed Jerai in the face, causing the loss of Jerai’s left eye.
“You little wretch!” Jerai was furious, as his left eye socket was bleeding with no end in sight. Jerai grabbed Shadu by the neck, and began to choke him. “Don’t you understand the risks you’re taking, you mindless rat?!” Jerai choked Shadu to the point of near death. “Follow that precious light, you rodent!” Jerai threw Shadu into the ground as he held one hand in the air, the winds were charging up mana into his arm. “I sacrifice my arm to you, ArchGaia!” The heavy wind picked up and sliced off Jerai’s left arm, and it disappeared. Red dots appeared in the heavens, and rains of fire flew down at incredible speeds.
“Symphony of the stars, hear my cry!” The flaming rain wrapped around Shadu, fully encasing him in a ball of fire.
(Meanwhile...) Raina was nearly dead; the flames burned her to a point of almost no possible healing.
Jurde cried in pain as she watched the blood of Jerai spew everywhere, she never actually thought that during her adventure, she would ever see such gruesome violence.

Shadu broke free, and grew devil horns…

Shadu was becoming anger itself.

“Shadu, get a hold of yourself!” Zuruma plead for Shadu to go back to normal, but it seemed far too late.
“I’m going to maim you and leave you for the wolves!” Shadu ripped off each of the Gretuzin blades with his bare hands, and drove each one into Jerai’s heart. Seven blades were driven through the soul of a hatred-filled being.
“This is for mother! And this is for father!” Shadu continued to kick in the blades deeper to make the death slower and more painful. Every blade cut into Jerai’s blackened heart represented all of the family members of Shadu’s he had killed. Jerai had killed Shadu’s mother, father, sister, big brother, grandmother, aunt, and little sister. Jerai left Shadu for dead that day, but it was a huge mistake on his part, because Shadu would never forget the damage he had done. Shadu picked up Jerai by the collar and slammed him head first into the ground.

A heart of sorrow is far more different than a heart of vengeance and destruction…
Souls who blindly seek revenge will die a lonely death…

I won’t forget you, I’ll come back, I promise you that, but I may not come back alive, I may come back from another world, one very far and unreachable from this one…

“Damnit!” Zuruma caste lift, and picked up Shadu, teleporting in front of him. “What’s wrong with you?! Killing someone won’t make things better!”
“Don’t you EVER, EVER interfere.” Shadu punched Zuruma and knocked him down.
“Shadu, what have you done?! You hurt grandpa! Don’t you see what you’re doing is only hurting others?!” Jurde cried and knelt down next to Zuruma. “Grandpa…” Her tears wouldn’t stop flowing; the crying sunk into Shadu’s mind and pulled him out of his violent trance.

“Where… What..?” Shadu looked down at Jurde, who was crying, her sorrow had finally knocked some sense into him.
“Jurde, why are you crying?”
”You’ve hurt grandpa!” Jurde looked up, tears ran down her face.

BEING OF PANDORA….
One with a soul of vengeance will die a lonely death…
“What have I done?!” Shadu looked at Raina, she was grasping onto her life, clinging endlessly.
“Raina!” Shadu ran toward her, tears were flowing out of his eyes. “I can’t believe this… What have I done?!”
Shadu cradled Raina in his arms, he had harmed the only family had left... His own wife.
“Shadu... Why...” Raina coughed, she was dying slowly.
“We aren’t worlds apart and we never will be! Raina, hang in there!” Shadu pulled out a potion vial, and made her drink it.
”Jurde, wake up Zuruma and tell him to heal Raina!”
Jurde was still crying, and shook Zuruma, he woke up, dazed.
”Where am I?” Zuruma was confused; the punch from Shadu was a heavy impact. “Raina, don’t worry, these burns are easy to heal. They may look bad, but they aren’t very severe.”
Zuruma Caste restore and Raina slowly recovered. Jerai was on the ground in a pool of blood. A shard fell from his hand, the spire of Grahdan. Shadu and the others might have been able to get the spire of Grahdan shard, but the maze in which they stood melted away, and Keran was nowhere to be found.

This begins Part 3, and the next two chapters will take place in the eyes of a child from the future, in 2976 A.D.

Part three- Revelations

Chapter IX [The fate of the future- burning inspiration]

“Aha! That’s a good thing to add to my book!” Justin was typing up a novel on his holographic computer. Tons of thoughts filled his head for ideas; his biggest dream was to become a writer like Lexer Rockwell, his childhood hero. Justin typed at least five hours a day, and his new book was going to be published soon.
“Hmm... Seventy pages, not long enough, it needs to be at least 100.” Justin was always adding chapters every waking moment he had the urge to.
“Are you gonna get off so I can go online?!” Justin’s little sister Katie always complained to him about hogging the holographic computer.
”Wait a minute, sis, I just gotta add one more paragraph.”
”You’re always on there! Why don’t you go outside or something?”
“It’s because it’s full of pollution, why do you think I don’t go outside much?!”
“Oh, I just thought you were a nerd! Ha-Ha!” Katie laughed hysterically, making fun of her big brother was always her idea of entertainment.
“Mom!”
”You’re gonna call mom on me?!”
”What does it look like?!”
Katie was appalled, her face turned beet red.
”I hate you!” Katie kicked Justin and ran into her room.
Meanwhile, Justin’s mother was walking up the stairs.
”Justin, is something wrong?”
”Yeah,” Justin responded, “Katie’s being annoying while I was trying to write.”
“Geez, I honestly think I should save up the 250,000 dollars to get her a holographic computer so she’ll leave you alone.” Justin’s mom worked a job that paid roughly 5,000 dollars an hour, which was slightly above the minimum wage.
“That’s it,” Justin’s mom sparked a thought, “I’ll work 25 hours this week and 25 the next, that way, she’ll have a computer in no time!”
“But what about the 200% tax rate law?”
”Oh yeah... I have some money from last month, that’ll cover it.”
“Okay...”
Justin continued to type, as his mother left the room to go to the USB-installed kitchen.
So much was in Justin’s mind, so many brilliant ideas, and yet, so many problems he had to face everyday. His sister bothering her, his hypo net internet system always giving him nanoviruses and making him ill and yet he still was determined to finish this novel.

The new internet worked in mysterious ways, it directly opened to your brain and opened the website that best matches your thoughts, and this is called the cerebral cortex Ethernet, when viruses, depending on the severity, attacks the immune system, basically the internet is now really a death trap.

“Justin, Mom said it’s time for dinner.”
“I’ll be down in a minute.”
“Oh, you always say that…”
Justin’s sister walked through the hologram door and teleported to the kitchen. Justin was so deep into his story, and he didn’t even care about eating, as long as he got the story finished. Minutes passed, they seemed like hours, Justin typed rapidly as he occasionally clicked the backspace button for typos. But then, Justin stopped. He had run out of ideas for his story. Finally noticing his hunger, Justin walked into the teleportation pod and went to get some dinner.
“Justin, you’ve been on that story for ages, when is it going to be finished? After all, you only spend twelve hours a day on it!” His little sister started busting him up, but only to quickly shut up to see that Justin’s expression was totally blank.
“I ran out of ideas…” Justin responded, he sounded awfully disappointed.
“Don’t worry,” his mother responded, “you’ll get new ideas soon.”
“Pfft, yeah, in a million years.” Justin’s little sister started to bust him up again.
Justin was very depressed at that point, he came so close to finishing, and then, of all times, he got writer’s block.
Handing Justin a coffee, his mother cooed,
”Don’t worry, I know you, you’ll find a way somehow to get further into the book. You look tired, drink some coffee, your brain session is in twelve minutes.”
Justin took a sip of the coffee, and immediately gained all of his energy back. The nanochips in the fibers of the coffee jolted his brain to make him not feel tired. Justin immediately pierced through his writer’s block and called over the holographic computer.
His sister gave him a cold stare; all Justin ever did was type his story.
His mother called again,
”Justin, you’ll have to get off there in a minute, you have five minutes left until you need your brain session.”
“I already know, mom.”
“Yeah, yeah… You know everything.” His mom responded sarcastically.
Justin typed quickly before his ideas would erase. The clicking noises became more and more rapid, until the computer locked up. The screen turned red, and a new window popped up.
There were letters being typed up on the monitor, Justin had no control over the typing.
Eventually, the window stopped typing, and finally the words were clear.
The words ‘HELP ME’ were written in gibberish. Who had written this? Where did it come from? Justin clicked the ‘LOCATE CEREBRAL CORTEX ETHERNET MAINFRAME DATA LOCATION SOURCE’ button, and the numbers were shown:
[Accessing data mainframe…] [Uploading Global Multi-verse Data information Personal I.P. address…] [Please wait one moment…]
[THE I.P. ADDRESS IS:

“What--?” Justin was shocked, the blood red letters horrified him. The words etched into his brain,
HELP ME
HELP ME
HELP ME
Justin shut the computer off and his mother looked down at him and asked,
“Are you okay? It’s time for your brain session.”
Justin pulled the computer cord and stuck it into his left ear, where the data could be stored. Instead of attending school, children now could just download all of the information they needed.
“Okay, all done, now for Carrie.”
Carrie, Justin’s little sister, downloaded the information and went upstairs to sleep. Justin couldn’t believe his eyes, the computer turned back on by itself, and began to type again.
[GO TO ETHERNET PORT 77]
[HELP ME]
Justin’s mom went into the other room.
“Damnit!”
Justin clicked the ‘track IP’ button again.
[IP: 00.000.000.00]
[Cannot find location]
“What?! Port 77? That’s a government server! I would be evaporated if I accessed it!”
Justin took the dive, and clicked it anyway.

Justin panicked again, what if he went even further? Would he live to tell the tale of the government’s schemes? Randomly clicking, Justin selected [PROJECT NEBANU]

PROJECT NEBANU INFO

“This is disgusting, horrible!” Justin was shocked to see what the government had done. If he was going to get in trouble, he might as well just take ALL of the information from the government. Justin clicked the Optical laser project button.

TARGET 3-
BEFALLEN LOST ISRAEL
TARGET 2- NEW IRAQ
Optical laser project
TARGET 1-
Etherus Planet- EARTH

How could they?! Lost Israel did nothing to them! New Iraq, too? And Earth as well? What was the government THINKING?!
“Holy crap…” Justin was speechless… What was the ‘help me’ message all about? Nothing made any sense, it was all just too confusing. This couldn't be happening... Could it? None of this was expected, none of it... Not from our government, right?

More text popped up, the word document was slowly typing. Justin couldn't figure out what it was trying to say, until it said....
LOOK BEHIND YOU
Justin turned around, a shadow cast before him.
"I am to make sure you tell noone of this."
"Tell what? Your conspiracy?!"
"You are not supposed to go through those documents, you humans were supposed to behave like the rats you are."
"I'll tell everyone! I'll tell them everything I know!"
But Justin was wrong... The shadow pulled out a knife and lunged toward him, he managed to move out of the way, but the knife only came at him from a desperate throw. Justin was frozen in fear, his death would meet him soon....
But then...
Everything stood still...
A voice from nowhere began to speak slowly,
"It is not your time yet. You have many obstacles to face, and many people to befriend. You also have many people to watch out for..."
Justin was still frozen in place, and then, the shadow disappeared, and so did the weapon.

Justin stood there, in utter shock of what just happened. What was that all about? Nothing made sense at all, the words "HELP ME" kept popping up in his head. And over and over..... He heard "LOOK BEHIND YOU". These words kept drilling into his brain. At this point, Justin didn't know what he was getting himself into. This was insane! No way could Justin live a normal life with the information of the Government! He would be chased forever!
"Justin, what're ya standin there for?" His sister interrupted abruptly.
"Oh, nothing...."
"What a load of bull, I know you're up to something!"
Justin didn't know what to say... Could he tell her? Or was the truth best hidden? He decided to just spit it out and tell her everything.
"Fine, I'll tell you! Just don't tell mom, okay?!"
Katie was thrilled that her big brother was about to tell her a secret.
"I won't tell mom, I promise!"
"Good. The truth is, I got into a government server and they found me!"
Katie laughed,
"Ha! I won't tell mom, she'll find out by the goons coming after ya!"
Justin heard a loud crashing noise coming from upstairs, a loud scream came after that.
"Mom!"
Justin and katie ran up the stairs and into the teleportation chamber, and went into their mother's room.
"Help! Help me! "
The words drilled into Justin's brain again.... The same words as typed onto his laptop... Wait! Could this mysterious deity that sent Justin the message be actually predicting the future?!
"Let go of her, damn you!"
"She has accessed vital documents and will be sent to execution, she must be silenced."
Justin picked up the nearest blunt object and slammed the officer over the head, the officer dropped his mother and keeled over.
"You scum better not lay another hand on my mom again!" Justin was enraged, he swung again, catching the officer in the face, and then flipped over him, pummeling him with the blunt pipe he had picked up. The fury and suffering coming from this governmental officer fueled Justin's satisfaction, he was becoming evil... Then something in his head yelled at him.
"Stop what you're doing!" These words echoed in his brain, he fell to the ground, a massive migrane paralyzed him temporarily.
There were words that repeated over and over in his mind...

Souls who blindly seek revenge will die a lonely death…
Justin was hit with a haymaker from the officer, sending him catapulting into the teleportation chamber.
"Damn it, I let my guard down...." He picked up the pipe again and knocked the governmental officer backward, he then kept repeatedly swinging the pipe until they came up to a window, where a view of thousands of flying vehicles flew endlessly to nowhere in particular. With a final swing of the pipe, Justin knocked the officer out the window and onto a flying car, he then jumped after him, ready to finish the damage he had done.
"Damn it, kid, where did you learn to fight like that?"
"Be quiet and die, you pile of dirt." Justin kicked the officer off the car and he plunged to his death.
"You mess with mom again and I'll kill all of you!"
.......Such a foolish child, your day will come soon enough...

the next part is back to our heroes...
Will they get the shards back in time, as a futuristic apocalypse is already happening?
PART FOUR~ LINING UP THE PIECES

Chapter XI [The portal to another world]
"Shadu! Shadu! Wake up!" Jurde shouted as she kicked Shadu to wake him up.
"What?! I was sleeping!" Shadu got up and looked up toward Jurde, his vision still blurry from awakening slumber.
"Time to wake up!" Zuruma helped Shadu up as Raina was lighting a fire for cooking. The air smelled wonderful, the smell of fresh meat and fish made a mesmerizing aroma.
"Don't get comfortable just yet, Shadu." Zuruma handed Shadu a book, the title was in bold print:
NEW TESTAMENT
"What about it?" Shadu was still dazed from a deep sleep.
"Open to the last three pages." Zuruma gestured.
"They're blank, so what?"
"Look closer"
Words began to appear on the page, the bible was being written as the world progressed. Millions of words scattered across the page, a red dot flew across the last page.
"Now read the dot when it makes the lines." Zuruma pointed to the final page.
The dot began to highlight words diagonally. Words formed into sentences, and sentences formed into paragraphs of apocalyptic information:
The first five lines decoded:
GOVERNMENTAL - DOWNFALL
2976
TOTAL APOCALYPSE
UNITED STATES- DIVIDED
E N D
"What--?!" Shadu was shocked to see this horrific pattern.
"The end of the world is coming." Zuruma warned.
"But we're in the past, that doesn't happen to us for a long, long time, does it?" Shadu pondered.
"You don't understand..."
"Don't understand what?"
"When one universe in time ends, they all do. We're all connected by a thread, a thread so small it cannot be seen." Zuruma had a worried tone to his voice.... The world really was coming to an end... And it was all being written down as they spoke. God had the final words ready and was prepared to take in his believers... Or was he testing them? Was he testing them all to fight back the ultimate question?
"....." Shadu was speechless, he was so shocked, he couldn't express it in words.
"We go to the thread tonight. We have to eat and prepare for the worst." Zuruma commanded. This was the end, the end of all worlds, but the question is, will they be able to stop the end?
"I figured it would end up like this." Jurde wasn't surprised, she knew that as long as she had her grandfather, and friends with her, she would turn out okay.
"I just hope we won't be too late." Raina was very worried, the stress of these thousand worlds became unbearable. If one world were to collapse, all of them would, along with the implosion of their universes.
"We have to do something right now!" Shadu jumped up, shouting.
"There's nothing we can do right now."
"Then what was the point of showing me this?!" Shadu was frustrated, another problem he had to face that he had no control of. "Damn! I'm so useless!" Pounding the ground, he began to cry, everything was crumbling.
"Don't worry, there's someone fighting a battle against it right now!" Jurde responded.
Shadu responded angrilly, "...And who the hell would that be?!"
"There's someone out there having it tougher than you, so stop complaining." Zuruma lectured Shadu with a wag of his finger.
What if they couldn't save their universe? Or the other nine hundred of them? The thoughts raced through all their minds at once, until they came up with a plan.
"Aha! I have an idea!" Zuruma had a sort of 'Eureka' type of tone to his voice.
"What?" Raina asked hastily.
"We must reach the thread in the Ogrewood forest, in the depths of the lake." Zuruma responded.
"So that's how the golem got there." Shadu figured out that people from any time could just waltz on into the portal.
If anyone could go through the portal, then that means they could go to the future where the last two shards were! The problem is, Zara could just as easily go to any other time zone, and find an easy retreat. There were millions, no, billions of places Zara could be hiding. Keran, the ice goddess retreated to another time zone as well, but it meant that there were only two shards left, and judgement would save the worlds.

Journal Entry # 05 [SilveriaMoon Day 02]
I can't believe this! First I find out that the bastard Zara has escaped into one of the thousand universes, and now I find out that if we don't get all of the shards in time, everyone will die! This is so frustrating, and if we don't kill Zara before the bible finishes writing, it'll all be over! But if Zuruma's plan works, we won't have to worry about anything, the problem is the huge risk we're taking. The thread between two worlds contains the holy shield, where we have to put the shards in, but the problem is, where are we going to find the last two pieces to complete the shield? And this whole 'Light of Suria' doesn't make any sense! I've never even heard of anyone or anything named 'Suria', and another problem is that how will this 'Suria' chick help us?
I'm stressing out alot, this is really complicated, and I don't think that we'll be able to do this, it's near impossible, not to mention we have about three weeks until everything's over....
I don't know what to do any more.
Crap, I'm running out of ink...

"How can we get to the Ogrewood forest in time?!" Jurde asked with great curiosity.
"Of course, teleportation magic!" Zuruma tapped his staff on the ground and a portal opened.
"Wait, I'm a little hungry, can we eat first?" Shadu's stomach was growling for some food.
"Don't worry, we still have time to eat." Raina handed Shadu some Zaer fish and a cup of tea.
"Finally, some food! I'm starving!"
The four of them began to eat, and as soon as they were finished, they got up and prepared to walk through the portal.
"So this is it, isn't it? This is almost the end?" Raina asked.
"Yes, it surely is, Raina." Zuruma responded, a sigh came after his response, this was going to be a tough battle.
The portal made a buzzing noise, and in an instant, they all appeared in the Ogrewood forest again. But there was something very wrong, the trees were dead, there was blood and fire everywhere...
"Oh my God!" Raina cried and put her hands in front of her eyes.
"I knew something like this would happen..." Zuruma wasn't shocked or surprised, he knew blood and death would lie in the wake of these destructive shards... He just didn't want to see it happen.
"This is insane..." Tears filled Jurde's eyes, and her vision was blurring.
Pools of blood came down from the burning trees, bodies were scattered about, something had shined from the water of the lake.
The Light of Suria is in the pond....
The voice was in Shadu's head, telling him the light was in the pond.
"The... Pond..." Shadu could barely make out a sentence.
"The thread of time is in the pond, we must make haste!" Zuruma gestured toward the pond and all of them jumped into the water.
They all saw the tiny ball of light shining at the bottom.
"We all must touch the light at the same time to teleport to the future."
"Okay, ready guys?"
"Ready as ever!"
They dove to the bottom of the pool and touched the light, a blinding flash engulfed them, and then, everything went dark.
They teleported to a white room, everything was a blank white color, it was plain.
"Look at the ceiling!" Jurde pointed. It was the shield! A voice echoed from the walls,
"Throw two shards into the shield, and you will reach the post-apocalyptic future..."
"Wha--?!" Shadu was startled, but then knew what he had to do, "Zuruma, give me the two shards, we need to get to the future, fast!"
"Just my idea, how brilliant!" Zuruma handed Shadu the shards, and he threw them directly into the shield. a cross came up from the white floor, and another portal spawned.
"This portal is where we find the one fighting the battle for us." Zuruma stated quickly.
"Can you tell me who's fighting for us?!" Shadu finally burst out.
"Justin Remnington, a boy whom got into a file that showed the evil of government." Zuruma finally spilled the name.
They walked into the portal, and then a black dome formed over them, they were sucked into a time rift, and thrown into the future.

2976 A.D.
The four of them landed in an alleyway, flying cars were everywhere, and there were no people walking in sight.
"This is the future? It's so amazing!" Jurde's eyes glittered, she was stunned by the glossiness of it. "Ooh! I wonder if they have any new stuff for me to mindlessly purchase!"
"Jurde, this isn't a time for shopping, we're in a *cough* predicament." Zuruma turned Jurde around and made her face the other road.
"This is the place where Justin lives."
Raina walked behind Zuruma, and everyone else followed. Zuruma knocked on the door once. Justin hopped off the flying car he knocked the guard off of, and poked Shadu's shoulder.
"EEP!" Shadu was startled, and he pulled out his sword. "Who are you?! What's with the wierd clothes?"
"They're called Jeans and a T-shirt, and my name is Justin. Put that chunk of metal away, please..." Justin's sister looked out the broken window and gestured to Justin,
"Ooh! When Mom wakes up and sees this window, you are sooooo grounded! Ha ha! Nah nah!"
"Shut up, Katie and let me back in."
"Oh, fine, you're so boring!" Justin's sister teleported downstairs and opened the door.
"WHOA! HIPPIES!" Katie took one look at Raina, Zuruma, Shadu, and Jurde and quickly slammed the door.
"Damn it, Katie, open the door, this is important!"
"Ooh! I'm also telling mom you swore!" Katie laughed behind the door.
"Open the door, please..." Justin sighed, and Katie opened the door.
"Fine! But tell your hippie friends to put on normal clothes!"
Justin laughed and guided them to his room.
"So you know, we used two shards and now there are two more, but an evil man named Zara has them." Zuruma told Justin.
"Oh, so that's why you tried to break into my house, what about it? It's not like I'm important."
"On the contrary, Justin, you are."
"Woah! The hippie knows your name, is he like... Psychic or somethin'?" Katie barged into the room.
"Katie, get out, we're having a mature conversation here!"
"What's a conversationinin?"
"Ugh... Just get out of here for a sec!"
"Fine, meanie!" Katie didn't leave until she kicked her big brother in the shin.
"Ow, you little monster!"
Zuruma interrupted,
"We must find the final two. Do you know why those files were top secret?"
"You know about the files?"
"Of course I do, all of our time zones are connected."
"Oh, the files were horrible, I don't know why they were so top secret though, they should be shown to everyone."
"It's because they are trying to make a chemical to make people invincible so they can live through the apocalypse."
"WHAT?! There's an apocalypse coming?!" Justin was shocked, his face turned pale.
"Indeed there is, look at this bible."
"That crusty old thing? Why?"
"Just turn to the last three pages."
Justin opened the old rickety book, and the words were being written on the final three pages. God was creating a Finale for everyone to witness.
"Oh my----"
"Big bro! Look at the holo-TV! The news is on!"
Everyone went running into the teleporter and went into the USB kitchen to watch the news. The news host started talking, and the events he was about to announce would make everyone become shocked.
"The government's funds have reached 0 today, mysteriously, the money has disappeared."
"WHAT?!" Justin looked at the bible, the first word being highlighted was 'GOVERNMENTAL-DOWNFALL'
"Bro! The gov is broke! We're all in trouble!"
The news reporter's next words would make the words in the bible really true,
"I am getting a signal, we are being informed that the President has now resigned, and there is nobody to take his place. Will this be the end of the 'United' States?"
Another word crossed off...
UNITED STATES-DIVIDED
"We need to find those shards, quickly!" Justin yelled.
"What shards?! Did the hippies tell you this?!"
"No... Listen Katie, tell mom I went to the store."
"Fine, but you owe me big!"
The five of them left and went outside.
"Where could we find the shards?" Zuruma asked hastily.
"Um... Wait!-- The museum has old artifacts! We may find them there!"
"Then we have to get there quickly!"
"I'll use the teleport vizor." Justin pointed at the vizor and clicked it.
"Museum 37A."
The teleport vizor responded with a beep and a flash of light, they all appeared in front of the museum and were prepared to take the final two shards.
"Now, we have to go into the crystals exhibit, I recall seeing some colorful broken pieces of some diamond or something a while ago."
Justin ran up to the teleporter and everyone was behind him. The final hours of time were ticking away like seconds, and nobody knew what to possibly do. When they reached the exhibit, Zuruma knew what they looked like, and ran toward them.
"These are the final shards! We must retrieve them!" Zuruma pointed at the glass.
"Smash the window and take them!" Justin made a fist gesture at the window, and Zuruma did so, the security alarm went off, and security guards came running.
"Take them and run! I'll catch up with you later!"
Zuruma and the others nodded and ran down a corridor into a teleporter. The final two shards were in their hands, good hands, and at last they would be able to save time and existance itself.
"Put them together!" Shadu yelled.
Zuruma hastily slammed them together, and the air ripped in half, a heavy gust followed by a portal stormed by. They jumped in with haste, and never looked back. They ended up in the same room as before, the shield was floating, and the voice echoed once again.
"Place the final two shards into the shield, and time will be saved."
Shadu ran to the shield, ready to be happy again, it was finally over, and they could go home... But then, a portal ripped open and a cold fist knocked Shadu down. He looked up, not knowing what hit him. Gaining back his control, he looked up to see Zara and Keran! Zara looked down at him with a devilish smile, and laughed maniacally,
"So, the vermin has tried and tried to save his precious little universe with these mere trinkets!" He kicked Shadu down, and took the shards away, he then pierced himself with them, and ripped the first two shards out of the shield, placing all four together.
"The unholy wind lives again!" the four shards slammed together, and gave Zara devil wings. The ground opened a black hole and a lance appeared. Keran Charged up an ice spell and stabbed into the ground, and the ground Shadu fell on lifted and encased him in frigid, frozen water.
The culmination of apocalypse did not happen, and the unholy wind rose once again.
"Don't you dare! Raina pulled out her staff and released her wings, flying at maximum speed toward Zara.
"Foolish..." Zara put one of his hands out and intercepted Raina's attack. He then grabbed her by the throat and slammed her heavily into the ground.
"Raina!" Jurde ran toward Raina to see if she was okay. She caste a restore magic spell and healed Raina, then ran for Shadu.
"Not so fast, rat!" Keran slammed Jurde into one of the white walls, knocking her out. The ice block engulfing Shadu melted from a blue ray coming from nowhere in sight.
"Did ya miss me?" Justin hopped out of the portal and ran in front of Zara, shooting and using all of the laser's solar power.
Zara miraculously blocked it, and unleashed it ten fold.
"You vermin still have very much to learn. Hell's wind!" Zara flew up to the ceiling, and injected the hell lance into it. A black tornado formed in front of Justin and the others, lifting them and slamming them into the ground, Zara then used all of the shards and placed them into the lance.
Shadu had woken up and pulled out his sword,
"You bastard! Everything's your fault!"
"Ah, but of course, I could not forget you, you're the little rat that I let scamper away. Shadu, is it?"
Shadu shouted to Raina,
"Give me a lift, I'm gonna kill this bastard!"
"Sure thing! I'll be right there!" Raina flew and lifted Shadu into the air. "Fly for all of us!"
Zara chuckled,
"A human catapult? Honestly, you're never going to get anywhere with that..."
Keran screamed, and Zara looked back,
"Keran?! You were aiming for her the whole time?! Very clever! So you have a mentality higher than a kumquat!" Zara laughed hysterically.
"You will never prevail!" Zuruma charged up an omega spell and launched it at Zara, but blocked it with the snap of a finger.
"This Dynasty will be mine until the day I die!" Zara yelled with confidence.
"That'll be sooner than you think!" Shadu Caught Zara off guard and sliced his face, then kicking him higher into the air. He then launched his sword at Zara and nearly killed him.
"You vermin... I never... Would have thought..." Zara collapsed and then stopped breathing. Shadu ran toward his dead corpse and took the shards.
"The bible!" Justin looked at the page, the last words were being written...
E
N
...
"PUT THE SHARDS IN THE SHIELD, QUICKLY!"
Shadu ran and slammed the four shards back together again, then threw them into the holy shield. A blinding, yet magnificent light engulfed everything. Words echoed in the halls,
"You have done well, you have passed my test. The threads of time will be saved."
With a sigh of relief, Shadu fell to his knees,
"That was close..." Two portals opened, one to the past, and the other to the future. The voice echoed,
"The threads of time will be safe thanks to you."
"Well, it looks like I have to go..." Justin shook Shadu's hand, "We should meet again sometime."
"Sounds great." Shadu smiled and stood up. This mysterious voice boomed once again,
"All problems in every time zone will be resolved."
"Well, it looks like this is goodbye, for now." Jurde hugged Justin before he walked back into the portal.
"Come on, guys, let's go home." Shadu stood up, and everyone walked into the portal.

"We're almost done restoring the forest!" A villager told Zuruma cheerfully.
"That is very good! Thank you so much for your help!" Zuruma smiled and then spoke to Shadu,
"Remember, whenever we have to go to the future, the thread is always there."
"I know," Shadu said, "I can't wait until the forest is restored..."
"Hey guys, they're making a big feast at the inn!" Raina jumped and smiled.
"Great! Let's go!" Shadu waved to Zuruma and Jurde as he ran into the inn.
Time had been restored, evil had been vanquished, and lives had been saved...

But....
Something evil was spawning.

"Elemental Shards" existed, both man and Beast wanted
all four pieces, for if all four would be together again
and touched by impure hands, the fifth element would
turn from Holy, to the Devil's flames
in an instant, this is why
four heroes must venture out to get them,
Every ten Thousand years, these heroes must
retrieve all four, and place all four at the same time
in the holy warrior's shield in a thread between two times....
Also Known As The Shattered Dynasty...

Can you hear me, Shadu?
The light of Suria awaits thee…
Please, do not fail us in completing your task…
We are in desperate need of your help, please save us…
Let us guide you
To Them…
The loved one you seek is near, and alive, find her, Shadu….

Different…..

--- Do not be afraid of the dark, be afraid of what it conceals…

“What?! Port 77? That’s a government server! I would be evaporated if I accessed it!”
Justin took the dive, and clicked it anyway.

If you're planning on getting it published... its going to need at least a lot of editorial work. I hate to say it, but you're at least going to have to describe the story in more detail; if not write more to the story. You're entire post is two pages shorter then the rough draft of my novel. I basically have to describe more fully the characters and the environment... but I also have a stash of ideas I'm going to be adding. Another thing you have to avoid, is run sentences, this would be an example of a run on sentence. It took me a long time to get out of the habit of run on sentences, but with practice... it will end. It looks like I might be needing a bit more practice at it.

I've done a revised version---Actually, I erased the whole thing, and did another version of the story. It's so far 106 written pages, and on chapter 6. Thanks for the advice about detail, it really brought out the story so far.
