the rules are simple..... be nice. so pretty much, tell me you're favorite final fantasy games and if possible why. im a huge final fantasy fan.

1. final fantasy x: this final fantasy was allot of fun. it had a fun story, memorable characters, and was actually challenging at times (though some may find that debatable)
2. final fantasy 6. this was actually one i played recently, but i still loved it. something about the extensive list of choose able characters, who all have there own personality and backstories just made me love this game. not to mention the music and the look of the game.
3.final fantasy vii: now before you 7 haters start yelling at me, here me out. final fantasy 7 was not a bad game. on the contrary, being the first final fantasy to try out the 3d world it was very good, considering alot of other games make that jump very strangely. the story was good, with plot twists gripping me at every step. now to mention yuffie, who made me laugh. (and also sorry davideo that i didnt make this number one... though id be glad to hear you're list)
4. final fantasy III ds: i put this as fourth because while it is the more fun final fantasy, i just dont think its the best. the stories a little simplistic, and the enemies dont make sense. but considering all that, the class system, and the battle system intrigued me. and it dragged me deep into loving ninjas in rpgs.
5. at number five is final fantasy viii. this game was not great... but it was entertaining. unfortunately while i loved the crap out of the story, thats about it.

3) Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
4) Final Fantasy XII
5) FF7 Dirge of Cerberus
I'm choosing out of the ones I've played even though it's possible there are better ones out there but other than that those are my top 5 Final Fantasy games in my opinion.

1. Final Fantasy V - It's a fun game. The job system makes it really fun.
2. Final Fantasy VIII - I love the junctioning system, to be honest. It's so tedious that I find it fun. I tend to enjoy this kind of stuff, anyway.

1. Final Fantasy X- this game had everything you could ask for.
2. Final Fantasy IV-  I liked the characters & the storyline.
3. Final Fantasy XIII- the paradigm shift in battle was cool
4. Final Fantasy VI- the storyline was dark, but exciting & the characters are interesting.
5. Final Fantasy VII- I liked the motorcycle chase.

You're list is cool, but I know I shouldn't argue with opinion... really? 13? THIRTEEN? Why did you put 13 on this list? How did 13 possible get on you're list... 13! 13!...13! I-I just cant even rap my mind around that one

owlflame : I know what you are thinking but I kept a really open mind about Final Fantasy XIII I just treated it like it was something completely different so for me it was enjoyable.

1. FF7 - Amazing story, music, characters... I think it deserves to have a whole collection of sequels / prequels.
2. FF10 - Also an amazing story and cast
3. FF8 - Good story, but I stopped playing for a while in the middle since it got kinda boring, but when I continued the last part was great.
4. FF9 - Only half way through but so far its good, ok storyline but the graphics remind me of the old PS1 games I used to play
5. FF13 - Amazing graphics for a ps3 game but was weak on gameplay & story... and it got trapped in my ylod ps3 which I sent away lol.

FF4 would be next, but the rest I haven't played or didn't play much of, I only got into final fantasy about two years ago with crisis core a friend gave to me, which made me buy the ps1 games in the ps store.
