I can't wait till this movie comes out I've always been a fan of the pirates of the carabeen movies i hope this one will be good considering a lot of the characters are gone now but I'm sure as long as good old jack is in it it'll be great are you gonna watch it?

I've have seen the 4th Pirates of the Caribbean movie at its german premiere day. It's a great movie and Captain jack Sparrow is stealing the show. It's more story based and there are less fights then in Pirates 2 & 3. I enjoyed the movie in 3D but I wouldn't say it's the best of the serie. In my opinion it's better than the first movie but a bit worse than the 2nd movie. But you should definitly watch it. Great entertainment!

I saw it in the theaters half expecting it to be a huge mistake. I was with a few people and it was my choice, and I took a gamble going with this one. I am glad I did though. It was an enjoyable movie, and it definitely didn't let action overshadow the plot, though some of the scenes (like at the bay with the lighthouse) was amazing to watch. To keep this post with a semblance of brevity, it is definitely a movie worth looking into if you get the chance.

I saw it not long after it opened in theaters, and I went in thinking the same as Redrunelord. I Loved the original trilogy. When I first saw a preview for a fourth one, I just sighed. I thought this was going to kill it because they probably just pulled a story out of their posterior ends because they knew making another movie would get a lot of viewers. But it turned out to be freaking amazing. I can't really think of a movie series where I can say I love every single one of them. This is one of them. But I do doubt they will be making another one. Though the third one clearly ended the story they were on, the end of this one didn't have Jack off to another adventure. He had more of a realization about life. I don't think that 30 second clip after the credits will mount to anything.

I did not like it as much as the others. I wish more of the movie actually took place on boats, ship to ship battles were quite fun to watch. I also felt they went way overboard with some of Sparrows scenes, like the carriage escape in London.

BTW, did anyone stay till after the credits to see the extra scene at the end?  I didn't find it as interesting as the extra scenes in the previous movies.  Dunno how many people even know there are scenes after the credits roll.

hackerman : There are some boats in the movie, namely Blackbeard's. But there is practically no action actually taking place on the boat and no great ship to ship fights like the other movies. All the action pretty much takes place in London or in the jungle/forest. I'm pretty sure that this one is also shorter than the others so that may be a reason why they did this.

I've seen this movie, and I do have to admit, it was funny and great to watch. Ol' Jack is still in there! (thank god.)
