Do you design and make your own clothes, or modify the ones you already have?

I think we all do this to some extend, taking in a hem here and there, taking upjeans, writing designs on trainers etc.

What do you do?

Sometimes. I don't really know how to sew super well, so if I do customize my clothes I often distress them- such as cutting holes in pantyhose and fishnets, or ripping up a tanktop. I also rip my own jeans. ;D

Sometimes I need to make alterations to clothes so that they fit me better, if it's like shortening a skirt or taking padding out of a fancy top, I get my mum to do it. She is awesome at sewing. She sewed her own wedding dress!

Well I can't really sew well But I have done the same thing Annette says that she does. Tear holes in my clothes and I cut a skirt sometimes to make it the length I like. Most the times My grandma helps me with these kind of things though. I have never tore a hole in my jeans before except more than 5 times when I would fall or get it caught on something lol.

Just the other day at my aunts house I went to get some dog food for daddy and one of her sons made this wheel barrel thingy and I got my pants caught on it .. while i was on my way back to dads and split a hole below my pants actually its a funny story.. but I am so clumsy and it looked soo cool though lol
