House chores. Allowance or no?

I don't really have "chores" since I no longer live with my parents. I live with my fiance and our friend, and I pretty much do all the cleaning when I go home on the weekends. I don't mind that much, though. They work and bring in the money. I go to college and keep the house clean. It does get pretty annoying when they don't take the garbage to the curb, though.

I do not get paid to do house chores. Although I just live with my fiancee. My allowance is not living in a messy or disgusting house But I for those who do, I think it should depend. I don't think kids should get an allowance for cleaning their own rooms. But maybe for doing chores around the house. Gets them more familiar with working for money.
