What does it's device status box say on its properties, have you tried the troubleshoot button?

- R-click "My Computer"
- select "Properties"
- select tab "Hardware"
- select "Device Manager"
- When it populates, select "Universal Serial Bus controllers"
- Look for it in that list

bobster5678 : Do you mean the device itself is broken and wont respond on the computers? or do you get a prompt on any of them when plugging it in?

This happened with my old Cruzer 2 GB memory stick.

I ended up taking it apart and finding out that this results from pulling it out and the memory stick's top portion gets bent... Unless you go to a professional USB shop, the info is probably gone for good, there's nothing that you can personally do to fix it.

The next time it works, put everything onto your computer.
