As some of you might know, my parents recently moved to a different province for the next few months to work. As such, I'm desperately in need of a job and have been searching for one since I got home from helping them move a week ago, yet work isn't too easy to find here for someone with no qualifications.

The missionaries from my church frequently stop by whenever they're in the area, so we were talking and stuff for an hour or so while they waited to talk to my childhood friend Garcia, who lives across the street. I haven't really talked to or seen that much of Garcia in the past few years, just because life got in the way and all that. So the missionaries ask to use my house to talk to Garcia in, because something or other at his house was going on, and it's better than sitting outside, lol.

So because of the missionaries, I get to talk to my friend Garcia who I haven't talked to in years, and it just so happens that at his work his friend just quit a couple days ago and they're going to start hiring to fill his position which is entry level and something I could do. He says I have a good chance of getting the job and they like to hire people who know someone working for them already. If I hadn't started letting the missionaries in my house a couple weeks ago, I wouldn't have got to talk to Garcia and I wouldn't have this job opportunity fall into my lap. Is it coincidence, fate, or seeing how "messengers of God" brought Garcia into my house, is it the work of the Divine trying to get me an answer to my prayers?

BTowns : I say it'll be work of the Divine if you get the job , Good luck! really hope you get it, living were i am right now, there are no jobs anywhere around, and i myself don't have any qualifications either so i'm kinda struggling, but seriously hope you get the job... imo nice people deserve jobs more than anyone.

That's great

Hopefully you get the job. Quite some good luck there
If you get the job then you'll need to convert to whatever denomination those missionaries are

So I went for the interview today, and pretty much got the job. Only problem is, after the tour and the drive there, I no longer want the job. The shift they want me to work is nine to midnight, which is grossly late, it takes about 40 minutes to get there, and with gas and taxes the way they are, I don't think I would even be making more than ten bucks a shift So it's back to square one on the job hunting Oh well, it was a good learning experience.

It can be possible. Have faith on what you do and what you believe. Good luck with that.

Now instead of FedEx, I'm going to get a job at Purolator, which is half an hour closer to me.  But it seems I'm destined to work in a warehouse loading boxes, LOL

Hey, that's great! Honestly, it is. It's better than being job-less, like me...

I don't even have a summer job All the hirers want to see my report card, but I don't have one.. xD

Anyway,  good luck!
