I watched the Mortal Kombat movie and the 2nd one, i also watched a cartoon series about it. I was really hope with the CG and new graphics technologies they would be able to make a movie worthy of the title "Mortal Kombat".

I remember seeing the first Mortal Kombat movie in the theater.  It was an amazing experience.  The second Mortal Kombat however, was a bit of a disappointment.  Mortal Kombat is dead to me now.  I hope they let it RIP

Actually..i have heard that MK legacy has spawned of a movie that is being made now! I´m not sure if it was inspired by MK legacy, but there is a movie coming out and i think you´ll get it with the next MK game.
