What does everyone think of Sony's Playstation network being down? Today is either the fourth or fifth day. This shut down of the network was due to their system being compromised by a hacker. Any pissed of gamers out there? Anyone worried about their personal info that you've shared with Sony. What about thoughts on the mass of fat ps3's all going down this time of year last year. Sony is slipping up and need to get their crap together.

I have a fat PS3 and I've never had any issues with it. The network being down doesn't bother me that much, it's only been like a week. I think it's pathetic that there's so many people freaking out and some people even switching to xbox. It's not like it's down forever, just a little while while they fix it. Conspiratorially, I think Xbox hacked them, since Microsoft is obviously good with computers, and now is a great time to shut down PS3's online play with portal 2 and mortal kombat getting people all excited.

I don't blame Sony for this, I blame the hackers who have nothing better to do than mess with Sony employees jobs and liveliehoods, and mess with the every day gamer like me. Sony has always been good with their service, so I stay true to the Sony banner, but this outage of PSN is slightly irritating.

I only play my PS3 offline so the matter at hand isnt really affecting me but it is rather disturbing that people have nothing better to do than hack the PSN... They think theyre so cool but can you imagine if THEIR personal information got out to those who theyve affected?
