I think that angers apprentice is a good book but doesn't hold much interest for me, it can get kinda boring some times. Eragon is none other then Epic,magic filled,cool and creative. it also has dragons, my pick is so Eragon. but angers apprentice is not to bad.....

I've never read Ranger's Apprentice, but Eragon (AKA The Inheritance Series) is one of my favorite fantasy series of all time- I seriously doubt any other book series could take it's place on my "list" of favorites. Besides the serious awesome factor it has as fantasy fiction, I really enjoy how you can get a sense of what the author is like by reading it.
