Here's the deal, in order to try and bring more life into this forum I'm going to be giving away Viz for tutorials. You'll get so much Viz depending on the difficulty of the subject and how easy it is to follow (determined by me and possibly some other user's). The tutorials can have anything to do with the programs featured here or rom hacking.

Generally if it's easy to follow you'll get-
5000 Viz for [Beginner] level tutorials
10000 Viz for [Moderate] level
15000 Viz for [Expert] level

(you can get more or less depending on how good or bad it is)

I've decided on this because I figure if it's easy to do it's easy to make but don't be discouraged to make Beginner tutorials, they should be easier to make and you could probably make three of them in the time it takes to make an Expert level one.

To submit one just go ahead and make the thread. I'll look at it and if for some reason it's not up to snuff I'll tell you and close the thread till you can fix it. Post the link here when you do.

Anyone caught copy pasting guides or tutorials from other forums/sites and submitting them to me will be banned from the Game Design forum.

If I post some very good and useful rom hacking guides from a wiki I know, with GNU license info and all, and obviously not advertising or anything, will that help, or not? I understand your not wishing to get in trouble with the original site, but they are fine with people redistributing their content under GNU, and I wouldn't expect as much Viz as someone who actually wrote a guide too.

Impish : That should be fine as long as the original people are fine with it. I'd probably only give 500 for one though.

I would post a tutorial as well as a video tutorial if I had time on my hands to do one, as I am at least on the moderate level with anything before XP.

What are you looking for here? A hand-typed post/thread, video tutorial, or something similar? I'm thinking about typing one up in Wordpad or whatever, but I want to do this. I've been messing with RPG Maker 95 for a while now and I know all the bells and whistles for it, so...

I can't make a video tutorial or make an adobe file, but if that's what you're looking for, tell people that I can help with RPG Maker 95.

I'm not planning to make any tutorials; mostly for the fact I need to read them before I know what I'm doing, however I still pose a question.

Let's say for example, if someone wanted to use RPG Maker 95, and they wanted their own custom music in midi format, would it be viable to make a tutorial on how to make midi's for your own game using that program? Because while I'm not interested in making a tutorial like that, I am interested in reading a tutorial like that.

girachu852 : I kinda had trouble reading it. The most important thing in tutorials is that it should be easy to understand and read so use proper punctuation and spelling as much as possible. I would have linked to a reliable safe keygen too. It might help some new people to the field though.
