Do you play any Instruments? I play guitar, bass, a little bit of the keyboard and I'm learning how to play the drums

I used to play Clarinet and Flute in band, but I quit about six years ago. As soon as I went into Highschool I stopped joining band. If there was one instrument I could afford I would want a piano...

I can play drums, and have been for about four years. Probably the easiest instruments considering you don't have to worry about learning any notes.

Choko453 : Oh, I know. Without drums bands would sound awful, there would be to beat to the songs. I'm just saying that it's a lot easier to be able to play an instrument without having to learn different types of notes.

I used to play Bass but I quit a couple of years ago :

Currently, I don't play any instruments. However, I know how to play the Bass Clarinet, Clarinet, Ocarina, and Recorder. I've played instruments throughout elementary school to graduating high school.

It's been a desire of mine to learn how to play a string instrument....the Violin is what I have in mind.

I play trombone in band, and I know how to play the guitar(which, I guess also means I know how to somewhat play bass since they're similar), and a little bit of piano.
I'm working on guitar at the moment but I'd really like to be able to play piano well at some point in my life. Piano music is so soothing ^^.

No i don't play any insturments yet but im hopeing to get some drums after we move to the new house and then i will learn to play them.

I play piano, a bit of flute and violin. (Recorder, harmonica... I don't know if it's counted since I just play them once in a while).

I also play Hand drums, and the one that needs stick. I find it more enjoyable to play the hand drums though. You could just go... wild, and fast, without worrying about anything else aside from the key signature. No need to think about basic patterns and you could go and invent your own beats just with your own two hands and a drum. I also play wood beatbox.


But still my favorite is piano. My main instrument. I love that you could play something that sounds complete (with background music, beats, 2nd main... etc), with just one instrument. And also compose a piece for 5 or 6 instruments to play together, just by knowing how things work with piano. Invertion, chords... octaves... The creativity it allows people to have and use really amazes me. Not to mention that you could also make your own beats with a keyboard that has a MIDI outlet.

I used to play the saxophone and then the clarinet. I was only a beginner though. I really liked the sax, unfortunately I was so tiny back then that I was unable to reach most of the keys so I had to switch to clarinet (which I didn't like). In retrospect, I wish I chose the trumpet. I always wanted to play that. I still do.

Juliet : My 8 year old sister just started playing piano she's really good and she enjoys it....I'm trying to get some free lessons out of her xD

Choko453 : I learned how to play by ear from dad, lol. A family member that knows how to play the instrument makes life easier. I used to depend a lot on the music sheets and notes because, "that's what my prof taught me". But now I learned that knowing how to play using chords and playing by ear are also important.
I wanted to know how to improvise and make my own rendition of Brand New Breeze by Kanon, and since Dad plays piano, I asked him how. So he taught me how to play by ear. And not to believe on everything the teacher says when he's teaching you music.
Just wanna give your sister an advice lol, since she's taking up piano lessons.

Juliet : I try to give me sister advice and she doesn't listen especially when it comes to piano I'll suggest something and she'll be like "I'm the one who plays piano go pluck your guitar strings!"

I play drums. I am currently learning guitar for the 3rd time. after I learn that I'm gonna learn bass.

I have began studing beethoven recantly and bach

I play Euphonium, trumpet, and drums, mostly trap set .
