There's been a couple of movies I watched that were so scary I had night mares about them for years, I watched these movies from when I was a kid..

Wow you know I've watched more horror movies probably then you've used the word "the" lol
but the only one I think ever scared me alittle was probably The Devils Chair or Cabin Feaver2.

None, i laugh at scary movies the scariest was wrong turn which was about killer cannibalistic deformed midgits who lived in Kentucky,...based off of a true story

Iv seen cabin fever 2.. it didn't really scare me.. lol but Iv SEEN TONS of scary movies its just insane

I think the scariest movie for me was Paranormal Activity, only because I only got about 10 or 15 minutes into the movie and shut it off. I have a baby and an upstairs and got to the part of hearing the demon walk up the stairs and slam on the wall.. that was enough for me.. especially when you somewhat believe it in!! EEEEK

I'v seen wrong turn and paranormal activity. They both kept me on the edge of my seat but they were pretty good not scary to me.

I walked out of Wrong Turn in the theater... not because I was scared, but because I was pissed that I had wasted my money on such a crappy movie. Blood and gore do not equal scary to me, but that is all that "horror" movies do now. It is sad.

I watched Paranormal Activity with Rifftrax, it was the only way I could sit through the long boring parts... and it made the movie hilarious. Nicely done effects though.

But yeah, I think the only movie that has ever truly gotten to me was Pet Semetery, and the only reason it did was the scene where the kid slashes the old man's Achilles' tendon with a scalpel. I had a bad habit of hitting the metal basket under my chair at school, and I would always really hurt my tendon when I did it, so when I saw that scene I had a flash of pain and could not watch the rest of the film for a couple of years.

Elara : Ya that's true most of all people see is scary movies now is blood and gore and that is not what makes it scary lol. I saw Pet sematary once , really I just thought it was a stupid movie after I watched it.

There was this one movie I watched one time called dead alive and it was so nasty that I literally puked ... It was like a couple of months ago when I watched that .. it wasn't scary it was just realllyyy nasty I WOULD NOT recommend it to anyone lol.

Bintsy : Yeah I know, the movie was not scary at all (honestly, nothing Stephen King writes is), but that pain freaked me out... I suppose it is kinda like how guys cringe when they see a guy get kicked in the nuts.

Elara : Ya haha I'v seen alot of stephen kings movies and they are not scary.. just intresting to me except the parts where there is pain like you said.

Yeah... I mean, I was watching IT and Misery when I was 4 years old (and no, I am not joking), King's movies are just plain dumb most of the time. I really don't get why he is popular as a writer at all, as the books are not any creepier. They have interesting premises and all, but not scary.

Sadly, what seems to get me otherwise is loud, unexpected noises... like when the phone randomly rings in The Exorcist... only scene in the entire movie that made me jump, because in a theater that phone is loud.

The acting is superb and never fails with it's cheesey, perfect script. The plot is simple, yet insane at the same time. It's brutal, gory and fun, everything a horror movie should be. Not to mention it's based on a true story. Making Texas Chainsaw Massacre the scariest movie of all time!

I've been scared by a movie once and it was drag me to hell the movie itself wasn't scary but that nasty old lady was in my dream the night I saw that movie and the fact that I had to walk home alone from the theater didn't help.... I slept in my dads room that night. xD

I many movies scared me when I was younger, but none of those I would say still do. I really used to let my imagination get the best of me, walking around at night, a feeling of being stalked, or sometimes looking up in the air -_+. The latest movie that scared me was Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I don't really watch a lot of scary movies..probably the scariest movie I have seen is the first Indiana Jones movie. I watched it when I was young and the soldier's faces melting off always gave me the creeps.

I don't really watch scary movies but i watch the commericals and that machete movie scares me It gave me the worst nightmare ever.

They are scaring beacuse are true story, but they talk about wonderful person who fight for justice as well.

99% in this site are from North America and maybe think that mafia is like those things in "godfather style": it isn't so.

I suggest you to watch some of them like "I cento Passi", I think you can find a subbed version on the net
