What is the strangest movie or TV series that brought a tear to your eye? For me it was Deep Space 9, the final episode when everyone is leaving, still have a hard time watching it.

I would have to say the same, the ending of the DS9 series really caught me off guard and then i realized just how attached to the show i actually was. It really was a great series and kinda wish there was more to it. Another reason i agree is i was sitting in the same room with Beleg XD.

There were parts of the Brave Little Toaster that made me cry. Puff THe Magic Dragon is another one that I got upset about. I was a kid, I wasn't sure what that all about.

When the horse died in The Never Ending Story. That was the worst. I had nightmares and I wouldn't be happy for a week after I saw that happen. Talk about traumatic.

The ending of Lord of the Rings trilogy makes me sad because it is so bittersweet. Frodo gets to go to Valinor with Bilbo and Gandalf but he leaves his friends behind in Middle Earth... Aww. I almost cried while watching it for the first time, but I don't usually cry when it comes to movies. Even though I am emotional person I find it embarrassing to cry in front of other people.

Annette : i have to agree, i got a bit emotional there as well. I'm a big Lotr fan, did you hear about the production of The Hobbit? I'm super excited, hope they don't disappoint.

I've been keeping up with the production of the Hobbit. youtube has videos from Peter Jackson of some of the production process so far. Pretty cool.

Margoth : I am SO excited for it, you have no idea. I've been a fan since I was about five years old. With Peter Jackson and so much of the original cast on it I'm sure it won't be a flop. They're going to do it justice. Does your username have anything to do with Morgoth/Melkor perhaps?

The first episode of pokemon makes me cry. When Ash protects pikachu even though pikachu was a little jerk wad to him....

Annette : It does indeed , yeah that was another thing that excited me was alot of the original cast will be shown, and having read the Hobbit more than the LoTR series and seeing the changes they had in the movie, i'm a little nervous they might not do a few of the key points in the book i like the most justice.

I'm gonna have to go with Toy Story 3. - When Andy is talking to his toys at the end as he takes them out of the box. That brought a tear to my eye. D:

At the end of "Polgara the Sorceress" when you know the book is over and both series are over. It is about fourteen or so books in both series and Polgara is the second of two cap novels... Just the knowledge that characters that you've come to care for with all their flaws and strenghths...

Clearflora : i have to agree with ya, my sister just recently visited me and she brought that with her... my little sister wanted to watch it and i watched a little of it, then i heard her start really crying, and i felt bad xD

I have a few moments from both movies and television...

From TV, some moments that hit me emotionally was from M*A*S*H. It is kind of odd to choose what started out as a comedy, but there are a few moments that struck me down. Specifically it is the ending to the episode "Abyssinia Henry", the final scene of the series, the scene where they buries the time capsule, and when Hawkeye breaks out his insanity in the last ever episode. As well, it is worth noting the almost legendary Fresh Prince of Bel Air episode "Daddy-oh"'s final scene.

In movies...the ending to Terminator 2 comes to mind fairly quickly. As well, in Rocky 5 when Rocky goes back to the gym and has that memory...that hits me as well. Yet the all time saddest movie moment that I have seen thus far was the death of John in "The Green Mile."

I will include one final scene from a video I've seen: "The Dragon in my Dreams" has a very powerful message for me, especially in the second half of the video.

I never cry usually, but I have to agree with Clearflora. Toy Story 3 brought a lump to my throat. It made me remember growing up, and leaving toys and childish things behind. Ignorance truly was bliss when I was seven and happy.

Well now that reminds me, LOTR definitely! Like omg why did the adventure have to end, and omg don't you just love the soundtrack?

I never cried watching a movie. It's hard for me to have those kinds of feelings, but there was one that almost made me cry. It was toward the end of The Fight Element where the girl almost died trying to save the planet. It's been a long time since I seen that movie. I liked her. She kicked but and had a light hearted attitude.

I'v cried over alot of movies and series. Notebook, Deathnote, and theres this one series about aliens gosh I cant think about it right now.. but anyways titanic and tons of others.

The final episode of X-Men Evolution made me cry. I guess it had something to do with the things Xavier said he saw when he was being all mind slaved and stuff... That and... I was getting attached to the characters, especially Nightcrawler.

I cry over a lot of movies I think because I just get so into them. The movie or show I'm watching becomes reality for me during the time I watch it. So to just start naming a few. I cried over Titanic, Up(was not expecting to start crying that early on), the Notebook, final episode of Robin Hood, Bolt, and Toy Story 3.
