Every time I edit a post I lose my layout for that post. I have noticed people who edit their post and still have their layout on their post. How do you keep your layout on your post when you edit your post?

I'm not sure if that is possible. I know when I edit my post, the layout goes away....and I've seen it happen to plenty of people....maybe a mod, can answer this question better but to the best of my knowledge that isn't possible.

I'm pretty sure the mods are the only users who are immune to this problem. It used to happen to me every time I edited a post, but when I became a Local Mod, the problem stopped. I think it's just because mods have more access.

It's not a huge hindrance, so I don't know whether it's going to be fixed any time soon.

I ran in to this problem as well, but I found a fix for it. I actually kept the HTML for my post layout in a text file on my desktop to avoid this problem. When I edited my post I would press "preview", and then have the option to enter the code above my post. But it doesn't happen any more now that I am a mod for some reason.
